New Music: Blac Youngsta – “Booty (Remix)” Feat. Chris Brown, Jeezy & Trey Songz [LISTEN]

Anyone that wasn’t messing with Blac Youngsta has definitely had their mind swayed with the rapper’s thumping “Booty” single. The track has garnered a lot of attention and the Memphis rapper looks to take it to another level by grabbing Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz for the remix.

Chris Brown, Jeezy, and Trey Songz is definitley the right ingredient to add a nice contrast to the friendly melody. Jeezy comes out with some strip club-provoking lyrics, while Breezy chips in with smooth vocals and channels his inner Busta Rhymes with a “Look At Me Now” flow. “Mr. Steal Yo Girl,” comes in smooth reminding us of his alter ego Trigga and drops some bars.

New Music: Chris Brown & Joyner Lucas – “Stranger Things” [LISTEN]

Hard work pays off & Joyner Lucas is continuing to display his talents, with his rapid fire flow! With talks of a potential joint project on the way, Joyner & Lucas seamlessly go back & forth exchanging bars on their new track Stranger Things.

On the track Chris Brown reminds us, he is a multi talented artist who can easily transition between mediums. Joyner is continuing to keep his foot on the gas, still riding high from his Bank Account and Gucci Gang covers.

With the single release, the duo dropped the visuals for the song as well.

New Music: King Combs – “Love You Better” Feat. Chris Brown [LISTEN]

Over a spot-on sample of Schoolly-D’s classic “P.S.K. What Does It Mean?” instrumental, Diddy’s 19-year-old song and up-and-coming rapper, King Combs hooks up with Chris Brown on “Love You Better,” where they pay homage to old school hip-hop.

New Music: Chris Brown – “State Of The Union” [LISTEN]

On the heels of [FAULTY] President Donald Trump giving his first official State of the Union speech last night, Chris Brown capitalizes on it by releasing his new single, “State of the Union.”

Although it seems like Breezy would be coming at Trump on the track, he actually takes a more chill approach, as he flips Goapele’s “Closer” instrumental and harmonizes over it. The song is about a love interest rather than any politics.

Chris Brown’s ‘Heartbreak On A Full Moon’ Goes Gold In A Week [PEEP]

Screen Shot 2017-11-13 at 5.18.10 PM

Even though Chris Brown’s ‘Heartbreak On a Full Moon’ only got three days of of sales in its first-week because it dropped on Halloween, which landed on a Tuesday this year, he still managed to earn a RIAA gold certification in only one week.

The 45-track double album, that requires time to fully digest and listen to didn’t top the Billboard 200 charts and earned a third spot with 68-thousand sales its first-week (essentially three days). Breezy urged his massive fan base to stream the album on all platforms and purchase multiple copies, which apparently they did.

Chris then shared a photo on his IG of his label submitting the album for a gold certification just a few days removed from the release. From there the news circled that the album had surpassed 500-thousand in sales, warranting a gold plaque.

With singles off the album like the Future-assisted “High End” and “Questions” continuing to climb on the charts, it isn’t too farfetched that the double album might be certified-platinum by the end of the year. However, for double albums the RIAA requires a double LP to do 500-thousand for it to qualify for platinum.

Make sure you grab ‘Heartbreak On a Full Moon’ on all platforms.
