Fans at Travis Scott’s Oklahoma City stop of his “Birds Eye View Tour” got to be a part of history, as they witnessed the rapper perform the platinum-selling single a total of 14 consecutive times. The performance set a record, previously set by Jay-Z and Kanye West.

Jay-Z and Kanye West set the record in 2012 during their joint “Watch The Throne Tour,” where they performed “N****z In Paris” 12 consecutive times in Paris, France. Prior to the performance Ye and Jay gave mention to the feat saying, “This will be the most times a song has ever been performed, the most times anybody ever performed a song in concert,” said Kanye. “This is for the record,” added Hov.

After shattering the record, Travis acknowledged Jay and Ye saying, “We just broke a record that was set way, way long ago. We just broke that shit, right? I think we broke that one. What’s the record? How many is it, 13? I’ma do 14 just in case they say, ‘Nah, that’s not it.’ We’re gonna do one more.”

It’s not known what made Travis want to go for a record-setting night, but he did. It’s unknown at this point if the Guinness World Records has certified the feat. La Flare’s camp doesn’t seem to care though as they’ve already said it’s the most times an artist has performed a single at a show.

Travis Scott Drops “Birds In The Trap” Short Film [WATCH]

Travis Scott capitalizes on the success of ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’, with a short film inspired by the album titled, “Birds in the Trap.”

In collaboration with Apple Music, Scott reflects on life and death in the nearly 13-minute film directed by Fleur Fortune. The film begins with a near scuffle in the club, where his girl interferes and reprimands the rapper for his behavior. That prompts Travis to hop out the car and go his own way, which results in a tragedy.

Throughout the film music from the album is played. The album recently surpassed 1-million streams on Apple Music. Watch the film in its entirety HERE.

Travis is currently on his “Birds Eye View Tour” venture, which began March 10th in New Orleans. He is also prepping his next album ‘Astroworld’, which he recently described as his best work yet.
