Big Sean stopped by KUBE 93 Seattle and discussed the Ludacris diss track that had the internet in a little frenzy yesterday. Did you know that someone actually took the time to make a fake diss imitating Big Sean’s voice to fire back at Luda. People need new hobbies.
The video for “Already There” is just how I imagined it would be. John West‘s debut album drops sometime in Spring 2012. I’m a sucker for success stories. :)
Story time. Around six months ago, Big Sean called out Ludacris for using his “supa dupa flow” on “My Chick Bad.” Now, Luda’s striking back and taking shots at Big Sean (and taking down Drake with him) with “Bada Boom,” found on his latest mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time. Download the mixtape here.
“Let me explain, nothing’s been new since Big Daddy Kane/ Flows get recycled, passed around to different names/ Y’all get a couple hit records, make some noise and have the nerve to start shouting?” the Atlanta rap vet spits. “May not like the way I used it but you know you ain’t invent it, boy/ Do your research before you make a claim/ So bogus that’s disrespecting pioneers in the game.”
Bonus: Here’s another track from Luda’s mixtape where he includes snippets from The Notorious B.I.G., Kanye, Method Man, Cam’ron and Q-tip using the same supa dupa flow. Class is now in session.
R&B singer John West snatches a feature from G.O.O.D. Music artist Big Sean for his latest single, “Already There,” featured on his upcoming debut album. I’ve seen John West perform a few times and he is one talented guy. I’m definitely looking forward to his debut album!
The video for the remix to Big Sean‘s “Dance (A$$)” featuring the bootyful Nicki MInaj will teach you how to write A$$ in about 15 languages. Go and learn something.
I’m all for more tracks from Miguel‘s debut album to make some noise today. He just dropped a video for “Girls Like You” and now we’re getting a remix for “Quickie” featuring G.O.O.D. Music’s Detroit Player Big Sean.
Join Big Sean as he prepares for his first headlining tour. The “I Am Finally Famous” Tour kicks off Oct 2 and runs though December with stops in Detroit, LA, Pairs and everywhere in between.
Angelenos, Big Sean will be performing in Santa Ana at The Galaxy (Nov. 23) and in Los Angeles at The Music Box (Nov. 25). For all other dates, please watch the video.
