Anderson .Paak has been teasing a Kendrick Lamar collaboration on his social media for some time now. The Oxnard rapper comes through with the delivery today as he unloads the K. Dot-assisted “Tints” off his forthcoming ‘Oxnard’ album.
“Tints” is a straight vibe that has Anderson and Kendrick getting funky with soulful melodies and dope rhymes over Om’Mas Keith’s production.
“I need tints so I can look at the snakes and posers,” raps K. Dot.
Andy .Paak’s ‘Oxnard’ album is expected to be released before the year is over. A few weeks ago Dr. Dre posted a pic of himself and .Paak, where he holds a hat that says “Oxnard,” with a caption that reads, “Just finished mixing the album. It’s a celebration bitches.”
‘Oxnard’ will follow 2016’s ‘Malibu’ and is the last installment of Anderson’s “beach series” that also includes ‘Venice’. The upcoming album will be .Paak’s firs on Dre’s Aftermath imprint.
