If you’re a fan of real hip-hop, Joey Bada$$ has exactly what you need on his new album ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’. ‘AABA’ follows Joey’s 2015 debut album ‘B4.DA.$$’ and sheds light on several social, racial, and political issues.

The album is loaded with 12-tracks and features from some of the game’s illest lyricist like J. Cole on “Legendary,” ScHoolboy Q on “Rockabye Baby,” Styles P on “Super Predator,” and Kirk Knight, Nyck Caution, and Meechy Darko of Flatbush Zombies on “Ring the Alarm.”

‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’ also includes the lead single “Devastated,” which has become a motivational anthem and the politically-charged “Land of the Free,” where Joey delivers a gut-wrenching message for Donald Trump and preaches advancement overall.

When discussing the album with Beats1 Joey said, “The real side of me, just the human side of me was feeling connected to it ’cause I felt so close to it. The musician side of me started feeling responsible, not responsible for what was happening, but responsible on how we can change it. How we could bring more awareness to certain situations. This project, I’m glad you said it, it’s about my experience as a black man in America, but it’s not just my experience. It’s your experience.”

In just a few days Joey Bada$$ will drop his second studio album, ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’. To promote the forthcoming project, Joey performed the socially-conscious, politically-charged single, “Land of the Free” on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Rocking a white hoodie and the same “Amerkkkan” flag that is featured on his album cover, the “All-Amerikkkan Bada$$” ran through his single backed by a band, DJ, and red, white, and blue flickering lights.

The “Land of the Free” single talks about the State of the Union, declares Barack Obama wasn’t enough, and attacks Donald Trump by saying he isn’t fit to be the President of the United States. Watch the performance below.

With one week remaining for Joey Bada$$ to drop ‘All Amerikkkan Bada$$’, the Pro Era MC shares the ScHoolboy Q-assisted “Rockabye Baby”. The single is one of just four songs on the album that include a feature.

The politically-charged “Rockabye Baby” follows along with the album’s theme, as Joey takes aim at Donald Trump and raps about his lack of trust in the current regime saying, “We ain’t got no one to trust / Time is running up, feel the burn in my gut / And if you got the guts, scream, ‘Fuck Donald Trump!”

Along with taking digs at Trump, the Badmon also spits lyrics about peace in an attempt to unify bloods and crips.

“Peace to my Slimes, and peace to my Crips,” raps Joey. “Neighborhood police and they always on the shift / Protect my Bloods, look out for my cuz / When it’s all said and done, we be the realest there was.”

ScHoolboy sticks to his guns as well with raps about slavery, social issues, the country’s racist past, crooked cops, senseless acts of violence, and more.
