Ab-Soul ft. Kendrick Lamar – ILLuminate (Video)

This is what I’m taking from the video: “ILLuminate” is visually told in a post-apocalyptic setting where the youth is shown discovering bits and pieces of Ab-Soul and Kendrick Lamar. That opening scene, where the teenager is buiilding a contraption similar to the one Eliot builds when he dials in to E.T. gave me the chills. Watch and give your own interpretation of the Fredo Tovar and Scott Fleishman-directed clip, posted above. Control System is available on iTunes.

Kendrick Lamar & Black Hippy – The Recipe (Remix) x Swimming Pools (Remix) (Audio)

Since ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul weren’t featured on the album, doesn’t mean the two were going to sit back quietly. Black Hippy reunites for two remixes of two very well known singles (“The Recipe” and “Swimming Pools (Drank)”) that are included in a deluxe album that you can only cop at Target. I know where I’m buying my hard copy at. Listen to Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock spark the two singles with their Black Hippy flare. Make sure to show your support and get the album on iTunes today!
