19TH DEATH ANNIVERSARY FOR THE NOTORIOUS B.I.G.
It’s been 19-years since we lost hip-hop legend, Notorious B.I.G. to a tragic drive-by shooting.
Nearly two decades later and his killer is still at large with no signs of solving the case any time soon.
Biggie Smalls continues to inspire aspiring rappers coast-to-coast, whether it’s somebody using one of his lines or sampling one of his beats. His presence is strong in hip-hop and it is quite apparent that legends never die.
Diddy shared some unreleased footage of the late rapper on his Instagram.
Many rappers also paid their respect on Twitter:
Rest In Peace, Big Poppa!
2-PAC’S NOTEBOOKS TO BE AUCTIONED
A seller on Craigslist claims he has three notebooks which belonged to 2-Pac which he has put up for auction.
The notebooks allegedly contain handwritten lyrics, poetry, music video ideas and other notes. Along with the notebooks will be included compact discs with unreleased music.
Moments In Time, a memorabilia seller that was tasked with auctioning off Pac’s five-page letter from prison, that sold for $225-thousand will handle the auction.
Handwritten lyrics to “Keep Ya Head Up,” “Street Fame,” “Who Do You Love,” “Thugs Get Lonely Too” and others are alleged included in the notebook.
The seller claims that his father worked for Pac and that’s how he ended up with the treasures.
I hope that unreleased music eventually gets released.
50 CENT IN TROUBLE WITH BANKRUPTCY COURT
It’s a proven fact that 50 loves to stunt, he even made a song about it. However, his stunting has got him in trouble with the bankruptcy court.
A few weeks ago the Queens rapper filed for bankruptcy claiming he was “broke.” He then proceeded to post numerous pictures on his Instagram account with large amounts of cash.
The courts got wind of the pictures and demanded 50 go back to court. He claims the money in the pictures was all fake and also said his African mansion was a lie he made up.
This week he made a number of Instagram posts expressing his anger towards the courts and the system. In the process he also announced that he will no longer be running his Instagram account.
