Real hip-hop heads are infatuated with the group PRhyme, made up of lyricist Royce Da 5’9 and legendary producer DJ Premier. The duo has been rolling steadily for some time now and will be releasing an LP later this month. Before that they drop their new track “Flirt” featuring 2 Chainz.
Their collaborative ‘PRhyme 2’ is set to be released on March 16th and include the singles “Era” featuring Dave East and “Rock It.”

With Marvel’s highly-anticipated “Black Panther” movie hitting the big screen nationwide next week, Top Dawg Entertainment releases the star-studded ‘Black Panther: The Album’, which draws inspiration from the movie and was curated by the label.
Aligning all the all-stars, the 14-track soundtrack includes some of hip-hop and R&B’s biggest acts like Kendrick Lamar on five tracks, TDE’s first lady SZA, TDE members ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, and Ab-Soul. Other artists that make appearances are The Weeknd, Future, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Swae Lee, Khalid, Vince Staples, Anderson .Paak, Mozzy, Jorja Smith, Zacari, amongst others.
The film’s director Ryan Coogler praised Kendrick and his music saying he had been trying to track him down for years and “Eventually I caught up with him a couple years ago,” and from there they brought the Compton rapper in to watch part of the film. After soaking in some of the movie Kung-Fu Kenny got right to work.
According to K. Dot’s top producer, Sounwave, the soundtrack was put together during most of “The DAMN. Tour.”
Much of the soundtrack came together during “The DAMN. Tour,” according to Kung Fu Kenny’s trusted producer Sounwave. “[During] ‘The DAMN. Tour,’ we probably came up with 50 percent of it—the production, the hooks and ideas,” he said. “When we got back from the tour in September, that’s when we were able to execute our ideas and reach out to people we respect and whatnot … kind of just put the stamp on it. So, I want to say those two months was the most vital on that tour, in terms of creative process.”

Many woke up today not expecting any new music from 2 Chainz, but the Atlanta rapper surprised the masses with the release of his impromptu ‘The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It’ EP, that includes features and production from some of the hottest in the game.
The four-track EP includes only two features from YG and Offset on the T-Minus-produced “Proud” single. Other producers on the project come from some of Tity Boi’s go-tos like June James on “OK Bitch,” Non-Stop Da Hitman of 808 Mafia on “Land of the Freaks,” and Street Runnerz “Lamborghini Truck (Atlanta Shit).”
This EP follows Tity’s ‘Pretty Girls Love Trap Music’ album from last year, when he also went on a tear appearing on several artists songs. He’s also been rumored to be working on ‘ColleGrove II’ with Lil Wayne.

These days everything Top Dawg Ent. touches turns into gold, they have turned into the Oprah of this music stuff. With the task of crafting the soundtrack for the upcoming “Black Panther” film, TDE and CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith put together a masterpiece.
The upcoming is set to include recent singles like Jay Rock’s “King’s Dead,” which features Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake, as well as K. Dot and SZA’s “All the Stars.”
Aside from those two big records and artists, the soundtrack will also include new music from The Weeknd, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott, Swae Lee, ScHoolboy Q, Mozzy, Jorja Smith, Ab-Soul, Anderson .Paak, and more.
‘Black Panther: The Soundtrack’ will hit all digital platforms on February 9th, with physical copies set to be released February 16th.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film which stars Michael B. Jordan, Chadwick Boseman, and Lupita Nyong’o will hit the big screens on February 16th.

Dreezy nabs 2 Chainz for her new single “2nd to None.”
Over the Southside 808 Mafia-produced banger, the Dreezy and Tity Boi go off about always coming in first place and deading all competition in the process. “I’m second to none, you nothin’ / I’m next to a nun, she naked / No disrespect, my check long as a confession,” raps the Chicago rapper.

Being from the South the combination of 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne made for a genius collaborative mixtape two-years-ago. It appears that the duo is ready to embark on a sequel of their ‘ColleGrove’ project with Chainz fueling it.
Yesterday, Tity 2 Chainz posted a picture of he and Wayne with a caption that read, “ME AND MY BROTHA GOTTA ANOTHER 1 ON THE WAY 
,” immediately sparking speculation for a ‘ColleGrove 2’ tape.
In April 2016 2 Chainz said in an interview that there was “plenty” of more music from him and Wayne on the way. When asked about a second installment Tunechi replied by saying, “that’s already done.”
Wayne recently-released his ‘Dedication 6’ mixtape and is expected to drop a reloaded version soon. As for Chainz he continues to work on his Viceland show and appears to be working on some new music as well. Stay tuned.

To many people it was surprising to not see 2 Chainz featured on Eminem’s ‘Revival’ album. The collaboration between both rappers seemed imminent after photos of them surfaced and rumors swirled of an impending song on the horizon. Chainz even showed some frustration on an IG post.
On the remix of Em’s high-powered “Chloraspetic,” 2 Chainz delivers his crazy verse rapping, “Take ’em to church, I’m talkin’ that tabernacle / It’s the return of the body snatcher / Walk in the spot, make my woman smack you / In a fruit fight, I aim at your Adam’s apple.”
Meanwhile Eminem also unleashes a new verse aimed at haters who said his ‘Revival’ album was trash and said he doesn’t have it anymore.
“I took a stand, went at Tan Face and practically cut my motherfuckin’ fanbase in half and still outsold you,” Em spits. “You just called my shit trash, thank God, I rap better when the odds are stacked / ‘Revival’s wack, I don’t like the ‘Zombie’ track / And when he’s talking that garbage, like how to crap / Where’s your content at, what’s with all the conscious rap? / Pink, Beyoncé, this, and Kehlani that’ / I just added to the fuel in my rocket pack / Until I’m ready to respond, then I’ma launch it at ’em.”
Back in July Tity Boi discussed his session with Eminem and the praise he received saying, “When it was over, Eminem came in and said, ‘How the hell you rhyme tabernacle with Adam’s apple?’”

Basketball player turned singer, Victor Oladipo turned heads when he debuted his very first single a few weeks ago. He returns today with his new single, “Rope A Dope” featuring 2 Chainz.
On “Rope A Dope,” Victor raises awareness by addressing things that aren’t going right in America. Saying “Fuck Donald Trump,” without actually saying it, Vic does it “in a positive manner” and stresses the fact that “We need to come together as a country to deal with these problems.”

His latest ‘PGLTM’ single to get the video treatment is “Door Swangin.” In the visuals Tity Boi goes back to his famous pink trap house and has a party with some of his comrades, bad bitches, and stacks of cold, hard cash.

Back in March DJ Holiday dropped the 2 Chainz-assisted single “Wassup Wid It.” Holiday follows the single with the visuals shot in Atlanta, where he and Tity Boi stand by a fuming police car with smoke coming out. With features from Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Ne-Yo, T-Pain, Yo Gotti, and BJ the Chicago Kid, Jallal presents to his fans a marvelous 15-track mixtape. The tape also includes production from Chad Hugo of The Neptunes, DJ Moza, and others.
‘Off the Radar’ is led by previously released singles “Imma Dog” produced by CashMoneyAP and “Toss & Turn” featuring Ne-Yo. Jallal feeds this project to fans ahead of his forthcoming debut album, expected to drop later this year.

Just yesterday Joey Bada$$ dropped three new, mellow singles all produced by Statik Selektah. Today the DJ/Producer returns with his own new, mellow single “Man of the Hour” featuring 2 Chainz and Wiz Khalifa.
With piano, saxophone, a choir and DJ scratches, Statik creates a nice music bed for Chainz and Khalifa to go off on. Titty Boi leads things off rapping, “I welcome yours with open arms / I give your lady a throat massage / I put your house in my fourth garage / Perpendicular, ignorant crossed with articulate / Southside, using Ben Franklin for benefits.”
Wiz follows with his own raps about putting this generation on the best weed and “getting high as D’Angelo bars.”
“High as fuck off the joint that I just rolled / Riding ’round in a cloud of that kush smoke / Put my generation on the good dope / Now we all getting high as D’Angelo notes,” raps Wiz over the mellow production.
This single is expected to be on Statik Selektah’s upcoming ‘8’ project.
