New York up-and-comer Day Lee has been bubbling in his city but is ready to spread his talents across the map. Coming off his last single “Bad Vibes,” he returns with his latest offering, “Jenny,” which he handed off to us for a premiere.
Over acoustic strings and eerie whistles, Day comes through with tales of a drama-filled relationship with his girl that lead him to pop pills even though he’s flew’d her out to the Bahamas.
Day Lee describes “Jenny” as a song that, “talks about all of the sweet things that come with being in a relationship and also that come with being single, going back and forth between those two ideas.”
“It’s me going through relationship ups and downs but trying to keep positive about it all,” he goes on to say.
“Jenny” will be on Day Lee’s debut project ‘Way Of Vol. 2‘ that he recently announced is dropping very soon. I foresee Day climbing the ranks in no time as his catchy sing-song style of melodic rapping style definitely fits with the current day schemes.
