On the remix, Smino perfectly raps in a soft, low voice while talking about love and showing remorse to the mother of his new lady. Smino’s sentimental style of rap flows flawlessly along with the chill production
Guapdad 4000 talks about how wearing a durag make him feel fly and mythical, which are the reasons why he wore a long durag on the night of the GRAMMYs.
The laid-back flow that both rappers used throughout the track definitely added more color to the remix and made it cool. The song was already dope as f**k before the remix, shoutout to Thundercat!
