Big Sean is back with a new powerful track called “Deep Reverence” that features a posthumous verse from the late, great Nipsey Hussle.
Hussle Man starts the song with a verse discussing his upbringing in an environment surrounded by his hometown 60’s Crips.
Sean Don shares a lot on the track as he mentions Nipsey’s untimely death and reaching out to K.Dot as a result after regarding his rumored beef with the TDE star. The Detroit rapper also talks about his struggle with mental health and reveals that he and Jhene Aiko had a miscarriage.
Ultimately, the song ends with a snippet of Nipsey Hussle’s interview stating that he wanted to collaborate with Big Sean and other Detroit rappers.
“Deep Reverence” will be featured on Big Sean’s upcoming album ‘Detroit 2’, which is executive produced by Hit-Boy and Kanye West. The long-awaited
album is slated to release on September 4th.
