Beyoncé surprised her fans with a new visual album entitled ‘The Lion King: The Gift’.
Throughout the years, only a few artists can pull off a surprise drop and Queen Bey is certainly one of the few that can make it a successful one. The album is packed with talented artists such as Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, Pharrell Williams, SAINt JHN, and many more.
It is inspired by the reboot of “The Lion King” movie that was released just last year. The Queen herself stated that the project is a love letter to Africa and you can definitely hear how as it includes Afrobeats and Afrofusion sounds off the album.
There are several underlying themes that you can get from listening to the project and these include rising to your own glory, embracing your blessings, and being family-oriented. B
Beyoncé definitely shows us that she is already a legend in the music industry as she wrote, executive produced, and directed the whole album, which ultimately displays how gifted she is as an artist.
