Zacari Drops Two New Singles For #TDEAppreciationWeek

TDE’S very own singer-songwriter Zacari kicks off the week with two new singles, especially since 2019 was a quiet year from him. The 24-year-old singer dropped, “Edamame” and “This Woman’s Work.”

Top Dawg Entertainment decided to pitch in on the quarantine fun that everyone is doing such as live battles, IG live shows and so on. TDE kicked off a “Fan Appreciation Week,” which prompted Zacari’s release of the two singles.

On Edamame you can hear the emotion he is putting on this track talking about relationships. He is also killing those falsetto notes.

“I know sometimes I’m out of line / You always hold me to the things that I say / I know those nights get lonely / And you don’t owe me anything,” he sings.

“This Woman’s Work” is a 1989 song performed by British singer Kate Bush. The song gained more popularity when Maxwell covered the track back in 1997 for MTV Unplugged. Fans loved the cover so he did a spinoff for his 2001 album ‘Now.’ Zacari is now giving his own shot at the track by spicing things up and adding his own original lyrics to the track.

“She’s a dancer (Yeah), she love dancing (Ooh) / All that dancing (Girl), came in handy (Ooh, yeah) / You’re the only one that gets a rise out of me, yeah / You’re the only one that knows I’m dying to be,” he says.
