Another tragedy occurred in the hip-hop community early this morning as Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was fatally shot during a home invasion at his Hollywood Hills Airbnb.
Reports have surfaced that the fallen Brooklyn rapper had thrown a party at the Airbnb he was renting from Teddi Mellencamp of The Real House Wives of Beverly Hills .
Police are saying Pop’s location had been leaked on his Instagram story after sharing a package he received from designer Mike Amiri.
According to authorities between two to six individuals, including one wearing a black mask, were involved in the home invasion which led to the rapper’s untimely death.
Police questioned several witnesses after the incident. No suspects have been named yet but authorities have assured the public that they are following up on all leads.
Pop Smoke was only 20-years-old and on his way to stardom with hits like “Welcome to the Party,” “Christopher Walking,” “Dior,” and his collaboration with Jack Boys called “Gatti.”
Rest in peace to a talented young brother who was really just starting to liftoff.
