It’s LIT in ‘ASTROWORLD’.
Travis Scott takes a trip back to his childhood with his new album, which was named after the famed theme park in his hometown of Houston, Texas. ‘ASTROWORLD’ is La Flame’s third studio album and follows 2016’s ‘Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight’.
‘ASTROWORLD’ comes equipped with a star-studded cast of features that includes Drake on “Sicko Mode,” The Weeknd on “Wake Up,” Frank Ocean on “Carousel,” Quavo and Takeoff on “Who? What!,” and more.
Travis told Zane Lowe on Beats1 that ‘ASTROWORLD’ was supposed to be his second album. When asked by Justin Credible and DJ Sourmilk about the difference of ‘Rodeo’ and “ASTROWORLD’ Travis said, “It’s just a different story, I’ve been through so much different s**t in my time.”
“It’s a different story I have to tell. It’s a more personal album, I want people to get to know more about me,” he said. “I want them to really get to know the rage inside and what’s going on in my mental.”
To accompany the album Travis released an ASTROWORLD clothing collection that includes 28 different pieces and is available for a limited time. You can purchase the collection on shop.travisscott.com.
