Escobar season has returned, y’all.
After a long six years, Nas makes his comeback with the release of his first album since 2012’s ‘Life Is Good’. The long-awaited ‘Nasir’ album is his 11th studio album and was previously teased on DJ Khaled’s ‘Major Key’ album in 2016 with the song “Nas Album Done.”
Executive produced by Kanye West, the 7-track album finds Nas rapping about different topics from social issues to fashion and Abraham Lincoln to street life to the Met Gala, and more. It includes features from Kanye, The-Dream, Puff Daddy, 070 Shake, and Tony Williams.
The album was recorded in the mountains of Wyoming, just as recent Kanye-produced albums were.
Nas premiered the album on Thursday night in his hometown of Queens with and exclusive listening. Kanye, Pusha-T, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Chris Rock, Swizz Beatz, and many others were on hand to celebrate the new album.
