Approximately four years Eminem gave us his last body of work that was ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Since then he’s released singles, but no actual album or project. According to HITS Double Daily all that will change on November 17th, as Em will reportedly release his 9th album.
This report comes on the heels of Denaun Porter, a frequent collaborator and acquaintance of Eminem’s saying the Detroit rapper’s next album was “done” on his Instagram Live feed. He later backpedaled and claimed he was only trolling fans.
Porter isn’t the only one who ha shed light on Em’s next album. Director Allen Hughes has also claimed that Eminem is in the studio everyday, while 2 Chainz confirmed Hughes claims. Chainz also later backpedaled but a picture srufaced if himself and Slim Shady.
There’s also been other photos of Eminem in a studio and most-recently one with Kendrick Lamar, which raised hype of a potential collaboration between the two for Em’s next album.
While nothing is completely confirmed the thought of some new Eminem music in these times we’re living is definitely enough to cause pandemonium.
In the meantime, Eminem will appear on Pink’s “Revenge” single and video, which is set to be released this Friday. He is also working with Dr. Dre on new music for Joesph Kahn’s hip-hop-based film, ‘Bodied’, that Em will produce.
Em’s last album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2′ debuted at No. 1 with 780-thousand sales. Stay tuned for more updates as they unravel.
