It’s already been a lit beginning to the month of June with PARTYNEXTDOOR dropping his surprise ‘Colours 2’ and Yo Gotti and Mike WiLL Made-It’s impromptu ‘Gotti Made-It’ collaborative project release.
The whole month of June is looking to be consistently lit, with 2 Chainz dropping his delayed, highly-anticipated ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’, Vince Staples’ ‘Big Fish Theory’, ‘SZA’s ‘Ctrl’, Ice Cube’s 25th anniversary special edition ‘Death Certificate’ release. DJ Khaled also said on his Twitter today he has a major announcement about his forthcoming ‘Grateful’ album on Monday, alluding to a potential release this month.

SZA – ‘CTRL’ (6/9)
It’s been a long road filled with delays and other issues en route to the release of SZA’s debut album ‘CTRL’. The TDE songstress has made headlines with her new RCA deal and after months of anticipation the album is slated to be released next Friday, June 9th on TDE and RCA Records.
ICE CUBE – 25TH ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL EDITION ‘DEATH CERTIFICATE’ (6/9)
With a new Interscope deal in line, Ice Cube is poised to rerelease his sophomore album, ‘Death Certificate’ with a 25th anniversary special edition compilation. The revamp will drop on June 9th and include classic singles like “Steady Mobbin,” “A Bird in the Hand,” and “No Vaseline” along with three new singles “Only One Me,” “Good Cop, Bad Cop,” and “Dominate The Weak”.
MC EIHT & DJ PREMIER – ‘WHICH WAY IZ WEST’ (6/9)
After an over 10-year hiatus, West Coast legend, MC Eiht is dropping a new project with DJ Premier and WC. The collaborative ‘Which Way Iz West’ project will drop June 9th and include features from Kurupt, X-Zibit, B-Real, and others.
2 CHAINZ – ‘PRETTY GIRLS LIKE TRAP MUSIC’ (6/16)
Due to unforeseen circumstances the original release date for 2 Chainz new album, ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ was changed to June 16th. Following the two month delay, Chainz and his label Def Jam label have rejuvenated the roll out of the album. The 16-track album will include features from Drake, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Travis Scott, Migos, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz, and others.
BIG BOI – ‘BOOMIVERSE’ (6/16)
ATLien Big Boi of OutKast has revitalized his career with his upcoming ‘Boomiverse’ album dropping on June, 16th. Just today Big Boi unmasked the cover art and track list for ‘Boomiverse’, which will include features from Jeezy, Killer Mike, Gucci Mane, CeeLo Green, Pimp C and, Adam Levine.
VINCE STAPLES – ‘BIG FISH THEORY’ (6/23)
One of the hottest rising rappers out of the West Coast, Vince Staples will be releasing his sophomore album ‘Big Fish Theory’ on June 23rd. The new LP will be the follow-up to 2016’s ‘Prima Donna’ EP. It will include the single “Big Fish” featuring Juicy J.
ACTION BRONSON – ‘BLUE CHIPS 7000’
Action Bronson has made a lot of promises and insinuated that his forthcoming project ‘Blue Chips 7000’ will be dropping this month and specifically on June 23rd. We will see soon.
BONE THUGS – ‘NEW WAVES’
Two of the original members of Bone-Thugs-N-Harmony, Krayzie Bone and Bizzy Boneare linking up as Bone Thugs to drop their new album ‘New Waves’. Loaded with a OG lineup, the new album will include the single “Coming Home” featuring Stephen Marley.
