Last we heard from CyHi The Prynce he ripped Kendrick Lamar’s infamous “HiiiPoWeR” instrumental on #Freestyle014. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper announced recently he completed his forthcoming ‘No Dope On Sundays’ album, and today he shares the first single “Movin’ Around” featuring ScHoolboy Q.
On the Syke Sense and OZ co-produced track Cyhi reflects on his gang ties rapping, “You don’t know how it feel when your cousin a Blood / And you can’t call him cousin ’cause cousin a G / Your homies is Crips but you stuck in between / Either you rob or you fuck with them keys.”
ScHoolboy uses his verse to talk about the sacrifices he’s made to give his daughter a better life. “Told my daughter that I love but I go / Rather go provide than be there and broke / Life or death, the paper bringing us hope,” raps Q.
There’s no actual release date for ‘No Dope On Sundays’ as of yet, but you can definitely get ready for it by listening to “Movin’ Around” below.
