2 Chainz dropped in on Justin and Sourmilk on the #LIFTOFF to discuss his forthcoming ‘Pretty Girls Like Trap Music’ album. Regarding the album, Chainz says the star-studded features sound like they’re supposed with nothing being forced. He also talked about his collaboration with Pharrell and confessed the mega-producer called him when he thought the album was already done.
Chainz also discussed his love and admiration for West Coast music and LA influence, while calling Ice Cube one of the Godfathers.
“It’s the originator of gangsta rap of hardcore impact rap,” he said about the LA influence. “Been in love with the East Coast music for whatever it’s worth for the samples or whatever, but I’ve been in love with the ambience of West Coast music.”
Aside from music, Creddy and Milk also talked about Basketball with Chainz and compared his music game to a current NBA Player.
