While we’re all waiting for the release of his next album “Darkness and Light” that will drop next month, John Legend surprises us with the “Love Me Now” video, which depicts the power of true love.
The video of the song was directed by Nabil Elderkin and pictures different happy couples around the world, in places like Domiz Refugee Camp in Iraq, Pulse Nighclub in Orlando, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota.
John Legend stars together with his wife, Chrissy Tiegen, and their beautiful daughter, Luna.
“This video shows how love can be shared in some of the most difficult situations on earth in which the human spirit and connection with each other prevails. From one of the longest standing refugee camps in northern Iraq just 45 miles outside of Mosul, to Standing Rock Reservation where they are fighting against the Dakota Access Pipeline that threatens their sacred lands and all of our water, it is a glimpse into these couples’ lives and the lives of those in their communities,” said director Nabil Elderkin.
Thank you, John Legend, for showing us that in a mad world, love can overcome anything.
Its like you learn my mind! You seem to know a lot
about this, such as you wrote the e-book in it or something.
I think that you simply could do with a few p.c. to drive the
message house a bit, but instead of that, this is wonderful blog.
A great read. I will definitely be back.
