We know President Obama is a music fantastic and an overall hip-hop junkie. He dropped his second annual summer playlist with some of your favorite songs from today and back in the day.
It started with the POTUS tweeting out “Been waiting to drop this: summer playlist, the encore. What’s everybody listening to?”

Gotta love how the prez is eager to take everyone’s suggestions.
The playlist features a wide-range of names from hip-hop to blues to R&B and other genres. Some of the names on the playlist include: Nas, Wale, Miles Davis, Common, Aloe Blacc, Damian Marley, The Beach Boys, Chance The Rapper and Janelle Monae who performed at The White House on Independence Day.
Some of the artists in the playlist thanked the President on Twitter for being inducted to the second annual summer playlist.

Listen below.
I’m surprised to not see Drake, Jay-Z or Kendrick Lamar in there. Afterall he did say K. Dot was one of his favorite rappers. Who would you’ve liked to see make the cut? Tell us in the comments.
