Robin Thicke has earned his first number 1 album with Blurred lines.
Robin Thicke’s album-of-the-same-name has debuted at the top spot on the Billboard 200, earning the singer his very first No. 1 album. According to Billboard, Blurred Lines sold 177,000 first-week copies, which is well above its 135k projection. Thicke’s success also puts him in some prestigious company; this makes him the first artist to simultaneously top the singles and albums chart since Rihanna’s “Diamonds” and Unapologetic in December 2012.
