Definitely a fan of original profiles and content. Fuse has a cool series titled “Crate Diggers” that profiles people with extraordinary vinyl record collections and have them show and share the stories behind their collections. In this episode, DJ Rhettmatic of the Beat Junkies shows off his favorite records, including a rare promotional copy of Prince’s “The Family.” He also talks about the history of the Beat Junkie crew wearing Green Lantern rings.
And in honor of Dilla’s birthday, Rhettmatic shows you the first official Slum Village 12-inch that was only released in Japan. Happy Birthday Dilla! Rest in power.
