Beautiful unreleased Cee-Lo record. Check out what the producer has to say about the Whitney demo, below.
Exclusive! Never heard before Cee Lo X Waajeed collaboration. It was written and demo’ed for the late, great Whitney Houston circa 2007. The A&Rs at RCA were calling every and anybody to find a sound for her 2009 release, I Look To You. I worked on seven or eight different versions finally deciding on this one with additional parts from Simon Katz from Jamiroquai.
Lyrically, Cee Lo nailed it! At the time she was going though her very public separation with Bobby Brown. He wrote the words as if she was speaking directly to him. I wish I would’ve been able to hear her wonderful voice singing these words, but for now Cee-Lo will do. R.I.P. Whitney Enjoy! –Jeedo
Produced by Waajeed.

So I went to the 24-hour Disneyland leap year day event last night and Devi sent over the email update as I was getting home around 5 am. The time difference kills me in the morning. Anyways, Joe Budden stopped by and performed for #SwayInTheMorning’s weekly concert series. He performs “Sober Up” in the video above and “Ordinary Love Shit 3” and “No Idea” after the jump. He also talks about love, 15 minute sexcapades and not liking casual sex. Just in case you were wondering.

Stalley releases the first visual from his “Songs by Me, Stalley.” Always a pleasure hearing No I.D. production. Guess Stalley hasn’t quite hit that 50K mark on twitter so all we know is Savage Journey to the American Dream is coming soon.

Melanie Fiona enlists follow Roc Nation fam J. Cole for this clean edit of “This Time.” It’s ok, you’re not missing out on much cursing. The MF Life is due March 20th.
Sidenote: I still bump The Bridge. GREAT ALBUM.
