Mixtape: Stalley – Savage Journey To The American Dream

After six months of being signed to Maybach Music, Stalley finally releases Savage Journey To The American Dream. Mixed by Young Guru, the 14-track mixtape features appearances from Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill, Curren$y, 2 Chainz, Avriel Epps, and Anthony Flammia with production from The Block Beattaz, Soundtrakk, Chuck Inglish, and Chad Hugo of the Neptunes.

“The American Dream is something I’m still struggling to define,” reflects Stalley on the inspiration behind the mixtape’s title. “When I was younger, my dream was to be a professional basketball player as a way out of a small town. You hear stories about people leaving their town to follow their dreams and ‘make it.’ I wanted to make it. But for me, personally, my dreams shifted because injuries prevented me from becoming the athlete I wanted to be. Now my goals are totally different. I’m still in pursuit of the American Dream, and one day I’ll define it.”

Dot produced track with additional vocals from Houston-based singer Jack Freeman and a beautiful sax solo by Thurston Magill. Believers Never Die drops April 16th.
