Stalley – Savage Journey to the American Dream Tour Vlog Pt.2 (Video)

In the second video of Stalley‘s Vlog, watch the emcee perform all over Texas and bring out Texan artists Trae the Truth and Killa Kyleon. He also shares his thoughts on being signed to a major label and doing his part to do something good to the world. I enjoy getting to know artists better through their vlogs. MMG is doing a great job with their artists’ vlog series.

Video: Stalley Explains Why Dame Dash & Guru Compare Him To Kanye West

“Dame said it like just how hard I work. How diligent I was. How aggressive I was. I never turned anything down. He (Dame Dash) would tell me stories on how Kanye would jump on tables and rap. Interrupt Jay-Z’s sessions and be like ‘but, listen to this rap’.”

“(Young) Guru said I bring a whole different movement and feeling to MMG. That’s what Kanye did… and you see what he’s doing with G.O.O.D. music and his music, period.”

GoodFella Media caught up with Stalley and asked some awesome questions to give you a better understanding about who Stalley is and what he represents. The bearded rapper elaborates on comparisons to Kanye West, his friendship with Curren$y and of course, MMG.

I was just watching the music video to Curren$y‘s “Address” featuring Stalley and wondering if I was going to hear them on a track any time soon. Wish granted. Stalley, who wasn’t planning on having any features on his album, decided to sprinkle in some last minute cameos. “So I was down in Atlanta in the studio and Spitta came through. One day we may have to do a whole project together.” Maybe I can make it happen if I wonder about it enough. Don’t forget, Savage Journey To The American Dream drops next Friday.

Last night at the Beats by Dre flagship store in NYC, Stalley held a listening party for his upcoming project Savage Journey To The American Dream. His MMG family came out to show support and say some nice words on the mic. It’s all love. Savage Journey To The American Dream will be available March 30th.
