Rich The Kid Reveals Artwork & Track List For ‘The World Is Yours’ Album [PEEP]

Trying to maintain the fire he’s caught off recent singles like “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar and “Plug Walk,” Rich The Kid reveals the artwork and track listing for his forthcoming ‘The World Is Yours’ debut album.

Due to be released on Friday, March 23rd, the album will include features from Kung-Fu Kenny on “New Freezer,” Chris Brown on “Drippin,” Swae Lee on “Gargoyle,” Lil Wayne on “End of Discussion,” Rick Ross and Jay Critch on “Made It,” amongst others.

The album artwork shows Rich wearing a suit similar to Al Pacino’s in the movie “Scarface.” Staying true to his “Rich Forever” ways, he holds up a stack of money and pink highlighted cursive writing spells out the album’s title over his image.

Rich The Kid Shares Album Features + Releases “Plug Walk” [LISTEN]

Coming off a successful single in “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Rich The Kid is ready to strike again with his newest release, “Plug Walk,” which has all the makings of an anthem, lead by an infectious hook.

Aside from the new single release today, Rich talked to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 about his upcoming album and features, which he said will include “OGs” like Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, and Kendrick Lamar, as well as newer acts like Khalid and his artist, Famous Dex.

“It’s great to have opportunities to be able to work with people like Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne,” he told Zane Lowe. There is no set release date for his debut album, but it is expected to drop sometime this year.

New Video: Rich The Kid – “New Freezer” Feat. Kendrick Lamar [WATCH]

When Rich The Kid dropped his Kendrick Lamar-assisted “New Freezer” single he caught a lot of people by surprise. A few weeks ago photos of Rich and Kung-Fu Kenny surfaced on the Internet alluding to the shoot of the video for “New Freezer.”

The futuristic video is directed by Dave Free of The Little Homies and Jack Begret. Rich is shown showing off his freezing, icey jewelry as he dances in the air with stacks of money. Meanwhile Kendrick hangs at a Chinese food spot rocking a yellow Kobe Bryant jersey.

New Music: K Camp – “97” Feat. Rich The Kid [LISTEN]

While K Camp finishes his next project, ‘Slump Lords 2’, which is said to be releasing later this month, he releases a new single.

In hopes of hyping up the album, K Camp tags Bobby Kritical, Rich The Kid, and 1WayFrank for “97.” Bobby Kritical is also credited for producing the track along with Wavy.

Rich The Kid Talks Kendrick Lamar Collab, Upcoming Album & More [WATCH]

Having recently-released his new single “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar, Rich The Kid stopped by the #LIFTOFF show on Power 106 to speak to Sourmilk and Justin about it. Rich said he’s been sitting on the record for about 7 to 8 months, but everyone he previously played it for said it was going to be a hit.

“When I first recorded the song I was in New York,” he said. “I first played it for my friends and they were like, “yo this is it, this song is gonna go dumb,” and I just had the hook part.”

Aside from discussing “New Freezer,” the Leakers also talked to Rich about the process of getting K. Dot on the track, other artists and producers on the project, and much more.

Earlier this year when Rich The Kid shared a picture of himself with Kendrick Lamar on Instagram with a caption that read, “Blessed to work wit Kendrick Lamar lastnite legendary way,” fans braced themselves for an unexpected collaboration.

Today Rich The Kid unleashes the long-awaited, ice-cold single, “New Freezer” featuring Kung-Fu Kenny. On it, the collaborators exchange boastful bars over the trappy production, that includes a lingering bass and endless bump.

Over the hard-hitting DJ Durel trap production, all the contributors spit some quick raps about trapping, making money, women, fashion, and exquisite cars. The track is led by Young Thug’s erratic hook where he sings, “I’ma hit him in the leg if the ni**a try to run,” he raps. “I done got a little rich, call that ni**a pockets Big Pun.”
