New Music: P-Lo – “Always” Feat. Rexx Life Raj [LISTEN]

PLOMoreThanANything

A day after announcing his forthcoming album ‘More Than Anything’, P-Lo shares the first single off the album “Always” featuring his fellow Bay Area brother, Rexx Life Raj.

Over the smooth, catchy CAL-A production, P-Lo raps about the ups-and-downs of a relationship and how it’s “back-and-forth like a tennis game that we playin’ in.” P-Lo then continues with an introspective look at things questioning himself by singing, “why can’t I be right?”

In an interview with THE FADER, P-Lo described ‘More Than Anything’ as, “…showing all the layers I have as a human and artist,” said the Pinole product in an told email response. “I’m a hyphy ball of energy but some people think I’m all slaps – I’m going to show them that I can do more than that.”

‘More Than Anything’ will follow last year’s ‘Before Anything’. As of now there is no release date, in the mean time listen to “Always” below via SoundCloud.
