In just a few days Joey Bada$$ will drop his second studio album, ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’. To promote the forthcoming project, Joey performed the socially-conscious, politically-charged single, “Land of the Free” on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Rocking a white hoodie and the same “Amerkkkan” flag that is featured on his album cover, the “All-Amerikkkan Bada$$” ran through his single backed by a band, DJ, and red, white, and blue flickering lights.

The “Land of the Free” single talks about the State of the Union, declares Barack Obama wasn’t enough, and attacks Donald Trump by saying he isn’t fit to be the President of the United States. Watch the performance below.

With one week remaining for Joey Bada$$ to drop ‘All Amerikkkan Bada$$’, the Pro Era MC shares the ScHoolboy Q-assisted “Rockabye Baby”. The single is one of just four songs on the album that include a feature.

The politically-charged “Rockabye Baby” follows along with the album’s theme, as Joey takes aim at Donald Trump and raps about his lack of trust in the current regime saying, “We ain’t got no one to trust / Time is running up, feel the burn in my gut / And if you got the guts, scream, ‘Fuck Donald Trump!”

Along with taking digs at Trump, the Badmon also spits lyrics about peace in an attempt to unify bloods and crips.

“Peace to my Slimes, and peace to my Crips,” raps Joey. “Neighborhood police and they always on the shift / Protect my Bloods, look out for my cuz / When it’s all said and done, we be the realest there was.”

ScHoolboy sticks to his guns as well with raps about slavery, social issues, the country’s racist past, crooked cops, senseless acts of violence, and more.

With the release of “Rockabye Baby,” Joey posted a video on Instagram saying, “I lied to you guys,” before unveiling the official cover for ‘All Amerikkkan Bada$$’.  Watch the video below.

With tensions running high from this disastrous Donald Trump presidency, Joey Bada$$ drops the visuals for his politically-charged single “Land of the Free.”

In the Joey Bada$$ and Nathan R. Smith-co-directed video, the rapper finds himself in a desert, brandishing a bandana that is intended to replicate the US flag. One of the scenes shows Joey preaching to a group of kids and telling them that,”Donald Trump is not equipped to take this country over.”

There are various explicit images throughout the video that display what is wrong within our country, ranging from the shooting of unarmed minorities to crooked politicians, racism, and double standards. Watch the video in its entirety below via YouTube.
