New Video: Big Sean – “Light” Feat. Jeremih [WATCH]

Beginning with a deadly exchange of bullets between two rival gangs is how Big Sean’sLawrence Lamont-directed video for “Light” featuring Jeremih starts. The shootout leaves an innocent little girl playing on her front yard dead, while gang members deal with their differences with violence.

With the beginning scene Sean Don looks to shed “Light” on different topics inner-cities deal with. The gang violence is only one of the subjects touched on in the video, along with police brutality, discrimination, racism, and other social topics.

“We shot this video a couple months ago and sucks to see these scenes are still consistently playing out in real life…even down to this week. It’s disheartening sometimes to see that not much has changed when it comes to hate, police brutality n just overall people losing their lives too early. But when I wrote this song, it was to reassure myself that no matter what happens, they can’t take away our Soul, our confidence, our ideas, n all that makes us shine,” Big Sean wrote on an Instagram post.

New Video: Big Sean – “Halfway Off The Balcony” [WATCH]

On the same day he dropped his fourth studio album, ‘I Decided.’, Big Sean also drops the video for his single “Halfway Off the Balcony” off the album.

The Andy Hines-directed video shares the same neon-colored light theme that the album cover and the “Bounce Back” video feature. This video also highlights what Sean said the album signifies, which is maturity. Sean discussed some of this sentiment during his appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

“The story of the album is, imagine going through life and you’ve made all the wrong decisions your whole life. You get to the end of your life and you say, ‘God, I did everything wrong. I didn’t work it out with the love of my life. I messed up with my parents. I’m not doing the job I was sent here for. Imagine something happens and you get one chance to redo it all. The album is basically a chance, to have that wisdom of an old man while you’re young, and going through life to figure it out,” he said on “The Tonight Show”.

New Music: Jeremih – “I Think Of You” Feat. Chris Brown & Big Sean [LISTEN]

jeremih-chris-brown-big-sean-think-of-you

Jeremih tags his homies, Chris Brown and Big Sean for his new single “I Think of You.”

The song brings forward a funky vibe as Jeremih samples Montell Jordan’s 2000 single “Get It On Tonite.” Over the track Jeremih sings about his abilities to be a lover and really give his partner what she needs by intoxicating her with love.

Chris Breezy and Big Sean also get explicit on their verses, as they carry out very sexual lyrics, that are guaranteed to make panties drop.

Jeremih was supposed to drop a collaborative project with PARTYNEXTDOOR this year, but after the two couldn’t work out their differences while on tour, that looks to be out the window. The Chicago singer is now working on his fourth studio album, expected to drop later this year.

While you wait for that groove out with “I Think of You” by pressing play below.

UPDATE:

Jeremih tweeted that he will be dropping something special for the ladies on Valentine’s Day.

New Video: Big Sean – “Bounce Back” [WATCH]
