Producer and DJ for Skyler Grey, MisterMike, remixed the songstress’ “Final Warning” and added a verse from Los Angeles rapper THURZ. Listen to MisterMike’s remix below.

THURZ, Willie B. and Glasses Malone throw down three gritty verses on the THX-produced “Gravediggers.” You might have previously heard the track on Lowkey (YouHearThatNew) and Chris Paul’s (L.A. Clippers) mixtape, The Mission, but THURZ decided to release the untagged version for you to sit with. Let this one simmer as THURZ puts the final touches on his forthcoming album, Blood On The Canvas.
THURZ hits us with a new video for his feel-good track “Keep Livin,” featuring the smooth vocals of Jarell Perry. Even his young daughter makes a cameo in the Super Official-directed visual. Keep on the lookout for a new project from THURZ titled Blood on the Canvas coming soon.

You might have heard this track on our mixtape The 2013 Draft Picks but now you can hear THURZ’s Blood On The Canvas leak without any tags. In THX-produced “Acura Legend,” the L.A. rapper reflects over one of his favorite cars from his childhood in Inglewood, CA.
Produced by Phonix and DJ Khalil
Accompanied by Jarell Perry, “Keep Livin’” is a new single coming from THURZ. Be on the lookout for a new project by the LA rapper coming next year.

A couple of awesome acts (see the lineup in the flyer above) are congregating at The Roxy to raise money for the Midnight Mission and to donate toys to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Tickets are $15 without a toy and $10 with a toy. We’re giving away a pair of tickets to the show and in case you’re the winner… you should bring a toy anyways!
Check out the details below.

Spoiler Alert: there is a reason this video was released late at night. Either way, glad THURZ had the chance to feast before the unfortunate ending. Download THURZ’s latest release, 517 W Queen Tape, here.
In Episode 4 of Season 4 [of NBC's Parenthood], at the 3:47 mark, Thurz grabs his first acting role as a rapper in the studio with Crosby Braverman in a recording session. Crosby’s son, Jabbar, walks in during the session and hears a few negative words that spawn the theme for “The Talk.”
Let’s go Thurz!
I guess I can’t tell it better than the man himself.
Greetings folks,
You are among the first selected few to hear my new project, “517 W QUEEN TAPE.” This mixtape serves as the prequel to my sophomore album “Blood on the Canvas,” in which I supply a diverse sound and showcase my abilities to attack records, rap my a** off, have fun, and provide good, original music. “L.A. Riot” served as the foundation for re-establishing myself as a solo artist, in which I took a concept and connected with my state of mind at the present time. I am grateful that you guys were on board for that ride. It means a lot to me, and I only want to give you the best. New videos and tours coming soon. Enjoy, spread the word, and tweet me your favorite songs.Bless,
THURZ
WOOOOO! I really fuck with this shit! Thurz & Johnny Polygon linked up for “Are You Not?” Produced by DJ Dahi & JLBS, 517 W Queen Tape coming soon.
