DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince are back like it’s 1991 (for one song at least). The duo have recorded a new version of their summer anthem “Summertime” for Jazzy and Mick Boogie’s upcoming mixtape, Summertime 3. We have a snippet of Will Smith’s verse that can hold you over the weekend until the mixtape is released on Monday, June 11th.
Not sure where this track will be placed but my guess is Common’s upcoming album, The Dreamer, The Believer. Amazon says the full track will be released June 23rd and for now you can listen to 30 seconds of this soon-to-be classic track. Props to FSD.
