Kanye West pretty much took over the weekend. After debuting “New Slaves” on 66 different buildings around the globe and performing for SNL’s season finale, it seems that the artwork for Kanye’s new album, Yeezus, is making headlines.
Usually, we’d wait on a confirmation tweet from the man himself before we post but his manager Don C. posted an instagram with the caption, “#yeezy2seasonhasreturned #yeezus.”
Real enough? The cover looks like a Jesus piece melted inside the CD case. According to Rap-Up, the artwork was posted on ‘Ye’s official site along with a pre-order link but was later removed.
Yeezus finally drops June 18th.
In case you missed it, Kanye West had 66 screenings of “New Slaves” in 10 different cities. The cities and locations were shared on a map found on Kanye West’s official site. As you can see, Kanye’s face was projected on the side of buildings (like the one above). Mikey Fresh (Miss Info) captured one debut in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

For SNL’s season finale, the show brought out Kim Kardashian’s baby daddy also known as the majestic Kanye West for a special closing out performance. The tracks, “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” that Yeezy performed are new material that possibly (but I’m pretty sure) will be found on his upcoming album, Yeezus.

Kanye West will be performing on the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” tomorrow night. Word is that Yeezy will perform some new material off his upcoming album, which is rumored to drop on June 18th.
Last night, Kanye took the stage at the Roseland Ballroom for the Adult Swim upfront party in New York. ‘Ye previewed two new songs and then went on a rant about not being a “MuthaF*ckin Celebrity”, and his upcoming SNL performance.

Hollywood.com is reporting, that ‘Ye was spotted on a downtown rooftop in Atlanta with Paul Rudd and Christina Applegate. Whether or not this is simply a cameo or more than that has yet to be revealed. Other celebrities spotted who are rumored to appear in the Anchorman sequel are Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Harrison Ford, Sacha Baron Cohen, Liam Neeson and Nicole Kidman.

Yup. Kanye performed new tracks in front of a well dressed (punk was the theme) A-list crowd at the Met Gala 2013. We’re not really sure on titles but we do know he premiered new music because A-Trak did post a picture on Instagram with the caption, “Ye premiering the new album… #mask #jimcarrey”

Kanye West will be the musical guest for SNL’s season finale!
“SNL” confirmed the rumors by announcing that Yeezy will perform on the May 18 episode with host Ben Affleck. This marks his fifth time performing on the show. His last appearance was in October 2010 to promote his album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
