Jhene Aiko and a small crew of friends hit the beach to film for her upcoming video, “Burning Man,” directed by Topshelf Junior. I haven’t heard the track but Zyaire promises that it’s good. He should know. He took the pictures.
James Fauntleory (the guy with the soothing voice of Cocaine 80s) was also on set for support. Click the jump for more shots, courtesy of Porterhouse LA. Heads up! Jhene has show coming up on Valentine’s Day with BJ the Chicago Kid, for tickets click here.

Los Angeles songstress Jhené Aiko now has an accompanying visual to go along with her vulnerable Key Wane-produced ballad “Mirrors.” The singer plays a ballerina torn with what she sees in her reflection in the black-and-white video featured above.

Midway through the first listen, I found myself drying off the sides of my face with my hands. The beautiful thing about death is that the once the person leaves this Earth their suffering ends. Death is never easy for those who stay behind. Def Jam songstress Jhene Aiko has released a dedication track to her brother who recently passed away from cancer at the young age of 26. “I know nothing lasts forever but I don’t want this to end,” sings Jhene. Last night, TDE’s Ab-Soul headlined his first show in Los Angeles. The Key Club on Sunset was beyond packed for the Black Hippy member and everyone in the crowd sang along to favorites off his latest project, Control System. Soulo did bring out a few special guests, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Jhene Aiko (even Kendrick Lamar called in to wish him a happy show), but track that received the best energy had to be “Pineal Gland.” Watch the Black Lip Bastard perform “Pineal Gland” in the video above and hit the jump for the surprise guests.
