Floyd Mayweather vs. DJ Sourmilk (Video)

The good folks over at Showtime & Heavy Hitters invited me to come hang out at Floyd Mayweather‘s training facility while he trained for his upcoming fight against Robert Guerrero on May 4th. I got a chance to ask him about his musical taste and if you’re reading this, you probably watched the video already and know what he said. Big thanks to Showtime Sports and the whole Heavy Hitters team!

Soul Culture sits down with Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T for our ongoing #OKNotToBeOK mental health campaign, as he speaks on music as therapy, loneliness, depression and finally making the decision to be happy.

Versetti from SoulCulture told me about a new mental health campaign that SoulCulture is involved with called #OKNotToBeOK to raise and spread awareness and support for the mental health of our generation. What a great way to introduce a taboo subject like mental health to a community that often sees emotions a form of weakness. The purpose of this campaign is to show that it is ok to not be ok. I know I just reiterated the title. But really, it is OK to not be OK and in the series of interviews that SoulCulture have started and will continue to release, you’ll see that see how common and less taboo the subject of mental health is. Everybody has gone or is going through something. and it’s OK.

For more interviews (from Big K.R.I.T., Ne-Yo and other artists) and articles, go to OKnottobeOK.com.

In part 2 of Elliot Wilson’s sit down interview with Tyler talks his relationship with mom, dealing with public perception, and Mountain Dew.

Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson sat with Tyler, the Creator for over an hour’s worth of chit chat and brutal honesty, at least based on what I’ve read. Now, we’ll get to see some of the interview piece by piece, courtest of CRWN. Here’s the first episode, where he talks about overcoming his writer’s block and his new album Wolf.

Trinidad Jame$ x The Breakfast Club (Video)

T. Jame$ joins The Breakfast Club again.

I was a little confused on Travi$ Scott’s situation because I knew he was working with Kanye West and apparently, I thought he was signed to G.O.O.D. Music but he’s really with T.I.’s label Hustle Gang. It’s all cleared up now that T.I. has officially announced that Travi$ Scott is part Hustle Gang on DJ Skee’s show. Watch Travi$ speak on his new single “Upper Echelon” and how excited he got when 2 Chainz sent in his verse while he was in Paris. Must be nice to have affiliations with both camps. Other rappers can only dream.

MTV hits the set of A$AP Ferg’s “Work (Remix)” which features his buddies A$AP Rocky, Trinidad Jame$ and ScHoolboy Q. French Montana is also set to be in the remix but shot his part separately. Check out some backstage footage along with interviews from each artist.

Xclusives Zone’s David Downer sat down with French Montana in the studio and shed some light on his upcoming album, Excuse My French. Apparently Snoop Dogg and Lana Del Rey won’t be featured on the “best album of the decade” because the tracks couldn’t be cleared. He also shares where he wants to be in the upcoming years.
