MTV News caught up with Nicki Minaj and Drake during Lil Wayne’s ‘I Am Music II’ Tour and had the two interview each other. Sway did a good job moderating considering that Drake wanted to leave a little early! Check out Nicki talk about her favorite moment on stage and Drake talk about his beard and long hair. I kinda like the woodsman look, Drizzy. Keep it.
Speaking of great performers (I’m still coming down from the high of Kanye’s performance), J. Cole took the stage at U Street Music Hall in the DMV and spit a new verse before going into “Before I’m Gone.” Props to Omen.
Acapella verses just sound so good right before reciting “Before I’m Gone” off Cole’s latest project, Friday Night Lights. Check out the video I took of him at the House Of Blues in Hollywood. He flows into the same song with a different verse.
Any new verse/freestyle/track by J. Cole is good with me.

Hopefully a video of the full 2 hour set will pop up online soon but in the meantime, if you missed Kanye’s epic performance at Coachella, here are a few videos to keep you sane while you wait. The videos aren’t crystal clear but you can get the idea. The video for “Runaway” featuring Pusha T, the only cameo for the night, is above and you can see more footage after the jump (click on title).
Sidenote: Kanye performed mainly solo at Coachella and rocked the hell out of that large stage. My favorite song of the night would have to be “Lost In The World.”

Kid Cudi premiered a new song, titled “Creepers,” earlier this week at a show in Tennessee. He’ll be performing tomorrow night at the Palladium in Hollywood. If you’re lucky enough to go to the sold-out show, maybe he’ll perform it again.
