Album: Prodigy (Mobb Deep) x Complex – The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson EP

Prodigy and Complex Magazine have teamed up to release this 7-song EP. Tracklist and download link below.

Since getting out of jail a few weeks back, Mobb Deep’s Prodigy has been hard at work. In the past six weeks, he’s lent guest verses to Curren$y and Alchemist’s upcoming Covert Coup as well as Jim Jones’ Capo and he popped up in the video for Raekwon’s “Ferryboat Killaz.” He also hooked up with his partner-in-rhyme Havoc, his buddy Alchemist, and old friend Nas for “Dogg Shit.” Plus he even found time to sit with us for an explosive Q&A where he talked about Capone being a snitch, running into Jay-Z, and why he thought Biggie was corny. And finally, his new book, My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep’s Prodigy, is in stores today.

Tracklist:

01. The One & Only (Produced By Alchemist)
02. Go Off (Produced By Sid Roams)
03. Black Devil (Produced By Sid Roams)
04. Twilight (Feat. Havoc) (Produced By Sid Roams)
05. For One Night Only (Produced By Alchemist)
06. Strong (Produced By King Benny)
07. Told Ya’ll (Produced By Sid Roams) (Bonus)

Audio: Will.I.Am ft. Justin Timberlake – Nature Of The World

No word on whether it’s new or out of a vault but here’s a collaboration between Will.I.Am and Justin Timberlake titled “Nature Of The World.” The track has a nice little vibe to it and it’s definitely not a dance song like you would normally hear from the Black Eyed Peas. The hook is taken from Timberlake’s feature on Talib Kweli’s “The Nature.” Take a listen.

Artwork: Lil Wayne – Tha Carter IV

Spotted: The cover for the highly anticipated Tha Carter IV.

I got the cover from the label. Don’t shoot the messenger lolless than a minute ago via SocialScope Favorite Retweet Reply

Ok, so here’s a little update on the album cover via Miss Info. It’s continuing the child picture trend from Tha Carter III and this time it’s Lil Wayne’s 2nd grade graduation picture. The tattoos were added after, of course.

Tha Carter IV is set to drop June 14th and the next big single should be coming out soon. We’ll keep an eye out.

Video: Pharrell Joins Odd Future On Stage At Coachella 2011 (Best Footage I’ve Seen)

There were rumors that Odd Future didn’t allow photographers or live streaming during their set at Coachella but looks like the rumors were wrong. Skee/Karmaloop TV was on stage recording Pharrell’s surprise appearance on the large stage. The N.E.R.D. frontman performed a remix of “Inside The Clouds ” with OFWGKTA’s frontman Tyler, The Creator.

I guess Tyler could check that one off his bucket list.

Video: Big K.R.I.T. – Return Of 4eva Tour Ep. 2

The intro on Return Of 4Eva goes so hard.

Nothing is gonna stop this “R4 tour”. Not tornados, Rain, hail or haters. Here is weeks 2 recap of the Return Of 4eva Tour. Dutchington & K.R.I.T. seem pretty calm & composed driving thru the tornado. I don’t think i would have kept my cool like that. Dope cinematography by Steve-Oography Goodtalk – Jonnyshipes

Video: Odd Future On MTV News’ The New West

The New West week continues with MTV News profiling L.A.’s most buzzed about rap collective Odd Future.

While the last few months may have seemed like a whirlwind, the group isn’t an overnight-success story. Tyler, the Creator, Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, Left Brain and the rest of the gang have been making noise for quite some time. They’ve released more than 10 albums over the last two years and made significant waves underground and on the Internet, building a substantial, loyal following thanks to their attention to lyrical detail and “I don’t give a f—” attitude.

Check out the video because it’s a nice introduction to the group and then check out the hilarious Funny Or Die skit after the jump (click on the title). I can imagine that’s exactly how their business meetings go.
