Drake Goes Off On BBC Radio 1Xtra’s “Fire In The Booth” Freestyle [WATCH]

You really thought Drake was gonna drop a double album and stay quiet for the rest of the year?

Last weekend Drake spit fire with some subliminal shots at Kanye West on Link Up TV’s “Behind Barz” freestyle. He follows that up with another London link up, as he connects with Charlie Sloth for a “Fire in the Booth” freestyle.

On a late night in London, Drizzy left the club and hit the studio to spit some bars. He begins with a little braggadocio talk saying, “I been waiting on this one,” before going off.

He started off by shouting out Boi1da, who produced the instrumental he spit over. From there he gets right to it and even sends some more subliminal shots at Kanye West and even Pusha T rapping, “The only skeletons here are from the nights I raised hell,” he raps, later adding, “Ya’ll keepin’ the score while watchin’ me score / Ya’ll keep the awards, I’ll take the rewards.”

The 6 God wrapped up the freestyle by shouting out Skepta, French Montana, Quavo, and Offset, who he congratulated for his newly-born daughter with Cardi B. Before stepping out he promises Charlie he’ll return at the top of 2019 for another freestyle.

While in London Drizzy made a surprise appearance at Wireless Festival and apparently also shot a music video, possibly for the viral, “In My Feelings.”

Drake Unleashes ‘Scorpion’ & Reveals His Son [STREAM]

Many people have been waiting for Drake’s fifth studio album ‘Scorpion’. Some in hopes of a Pusha T response, while others were just excited for some new music from the biggest hip-hop artist in the game.

Drizzy really pleased his fans with this release, as it is a double album that contains an A-Side and a B-Side. One of the sides is more geared towards raps and he definitely throws some subs and the B-Side is more of the singing, R&B Drake.

Executive produced by Noah “40” Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib, the 25-track double album includes features from JAY Z on “Talk Up,” Michael Jackson on “Don’t Matter to Me,” and the combination of Ty Dolla $ign and the late Static Major on “After Dark.”

Other contributions come from Nicki Minaj on “That’s How You Feel,” Future on “Blue Tint,” PARTYNEXTDOOR on “Ratchet Happy Birthday,” Stefflon Don on “Peak,” and others. The album also includes chart-topping singles “Nice for What” and “God’s Plan.”

On March 14th Drake transitions from The Boy to The Man, as he reveals he has a baby and dedicates the entire song to his offspring. He goes on to explain when the baby was conceived on the heartfelt track.

Upon release the album was certified double platinum due to the streams of “Nice for What” and “God’s Plan.”

New Video: XXXtentaction – “SAD!” [WATCH]

Following his memorial and on the day of his funeral, XXXtentaction’s estate releases the emotional visuals for his No. 1 single, “SAD!”

In the video X strangely enough attends his own funeral, where his dead body lays in a casket, as people look on and mourn his death. By watching the video the first reaction I got is he was killing his old self off and focusing on recreating himself as a positive figure.

X, real name Jahseh Onfroy wrote and creative directed the video himself.

Towards the end of the clip he meets an undertaker figure, who tells him to change for the better and spread love instead of hate. The man goes on to say, “The world is in need of change,” he says. “Humans must learn to love and compromise rather than destroy.”
