J. Cole & Meek Mill Perform At The NBA All-Star Game [WATCH]

It’s not a complete All-Star weekend without the culture making its impact on it. Meek Mill opened the game up yesterday with a pre-game performance, while J. Cole had a homecoming with a halftime performance in his hometown of North Carolina.

Meek Mill provided the soundtrack of each team’s introduction with a performance that began with the album’s ‘Championships’ album “Intro” before doing a medley that included “Going Bad” and “Uptown Vibes.” He then performed the culture’s national anthem “Dreams & Nightmares (Intro).”

Cole took over the court for the halftime show where he brought out a gang of Dreamville fans with him to spectate as he ran through his classics. Draped in a vintage Charlotte Hornets jacket and Fear of God jeans the Fayettville product delivered a 10-minute set of old and recent hits.

He began the halftime performance with his new single “Middle Child” and then continued with his “a lot” verse as he made his way into the crowd and shouted: “21 Savage, we love you.” Cole kept the energy going with “ATM” off ‘KOD’ and then slowed things down with a performance of his “favorite song,” “Love Yourz.” His performance ended with “No Role Modelz.”

Blueface tags Cardiana B for his official “Thotiana” remix which he releases with the Cole Bennett-directed video.

The viral single has made Blueface a prominent figure in the rap game and has made it all the way to No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. This remix follows the YG-assisted one and it is rumored that there is another remix version out there that features French Montana.

In the video both Blueface and Bardi flex their allegiance to their colors and rep their gangs. Blueface rocks out in blue while Cardi reps her side in a red paisley print cowboy hat and matching outfit with bloody shoes, of course. She twerks on top of a lowrider as Bleuface does his dance.

Grammy Award winners and recent collaborators Cardi B and Bruno Mars reconnect for their latest single “Please Me.” Their last collaboration for “Finesse (Remix)” shot straight up the charts and this one figures to do the same.

Cardi’s had a a few ups and downs this week coming off her GRAMMY win making her the first female to win Best Rap Album. After taking a lot of heat from haters on the Internet she deleted her Instagram, but returned this week to announce this single. Much love to her, she deserved the win nevertheless.

Bruno sings the hook and Cardi raps the verses all while bringing us back to that 90’s nostalgic feeling. The song is very racy and edgy they reached down their inner Jodeci bag.
