New Music: Young M.A – “Stubborn Ass” [LISTEN]

Young M.A is in her bag on her new joint called “Stubborn Ass,” where she’s calling it like it is speaking to her significant other. The production is top tier and the lyrics she spits certainly keep you on edge as she raps, “Talk, even when you not in the mood/ This is love, gotta apply by the rules/You leaving now is like a 12th grader deciding to drop out of school.”

This one is relatable to anybody who feels they’ve had to deal with an insubordinate partner.

New Video: Young M.A – “Praktice” [WATCH]

We haven’t heard much from New York rapper Young M.A, as she has been in quite a bit of a hiatus. That all changed last week when she dropped her new Allen Iverson-inspired single “Praktice,” which she follows with a video for.

The Rik Cordero-directed video begins with M.A at a post game interview being interviewed by a group of reporters. One of the reporters asks her about practice before Fatboy SSE kicks him out of the interview area. M.A then proceeds to showcase her ball skills on the court.

New Music: T-Pain – “F.B.G.M.” Feat. Young M.A [LISTEN]

t-pain-fbgm

When Young M.A was a teenager, T-Pain was at the top of the music world with several charting tracks and was regarded one of the hottest hook makers. Years later M.A finds herself trending upwards, as Pain looks to regain the same spot he once had.

In his attempts, Pain nabs M.A as a collaborator on his new single “F.B.G.M,” which is without a doubt the strongest new single he’s released in a while. Last week he released the ‘T-Wayne’ compilation with Lil Wayne, which includes a bunch of old tracks between the two. Listen to “F.B.G.M.” below.

New Mixtape: Young M.A – ‘Herstory’ [STREAM]

young-ma-1

About a year ago Young M.A hit the scene with her breakout hit-single “OOOUUU,” that sent waves across the industry and became an instant anthem. The New York spitter follows the single’s success with her debut project, ‘HerStory’.

Along with “OOOUUU” the rapper’s first official project also includes her previous release, the scorching single “Hot Sauce”. The 7-track EP lists only one feature from singer Monica on “JOOTD,” where she samples Monica’s “Don’t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days).”

When M.A talked to Justin and Milk on the Power 106 #LIFTOFF show a few weeks ago, she announced the ‘HerStory’ project and also said she would follow it with a full-length album called ‘HerStory in the Making’. There is no set release date for the album but enjoy ‘HerStory’ below.

New Video: Young M.A – “Hot Sauce” [WATCH]

Young M.A swelters the strip club and spends some money in the video for her recently-released single, “Hot Sauce.”

The Brooklyn rapper hit ACES strip club in New York, where she posted up with her peoples, as they watched women twerk and tossed money in the air. On the track M.A brags about cash, her booking fee, and throws a dig regarding beefs in the industry.

“Hot Sauce” will be on M.A’s forthcoming ‘Herstory’ EP, expected to drop at the end of this month. Watch the video for “Hot Sauce” below.

Young M.A is feeling froggy and taking a leap on her new single “Hot Sauce.” The Showtyme On The Beat’s-produced track was first previewed in her “Kween” freestyle video about a week ago.

From rapping about bagging work, rolling mighty, blunts, and stunting, the Brooklyn rapper also talks about rap beef saying, “While they making disses, I’m just making hits / ‘Cause if it don’t make dollars, it don’t make no sense / It’s chess, not checkers, learn the game, dude / I just can’t relate, ’cause that’s what lames do.”

M.A might be taking a dig at Remy Ma, who recently released a couple diss tracks aimed at Nicki Minaj. Although M.A doesn’t call her out by name, one can make the correlation. It’ll be interesting to see if Remy feels some kind of way about the lyrics and responds. After-all it’s a sport.

“Hot Sauce” will appear on M.A’s forthcoming ‘Herstory’ EP, which she told Milk and Justin is expected to drop at the end of this month. She will also be taking a trek with 21 Savage for the “Issa Tour,” which begins March 31st in Houston, TX.
