New Music: Logic – “The Return” [LISTEN]

Earlier this week Logic delivered a powerful performance of his single “One Day” with Ryan Tedder at the MTV Music Video Awards. Today the MC makes “The Return” on his latest 6ix-produced single, where he cooks up a lyrical storm.

“And ain’t no “S” on my chest but i’m still gunnin’ / While half of these motherfuckers still runnin’ / I’ve learned everything I’ve attained and steal from ’em / Like god damn, I’m the motherfuckin’ man,” he raps.

Nicki Minaj Goes In On Travis Scott On Her “QUEEN” Radio Show [PEEP]

As advertised and promised during her acceptance speech for “Best Hip-Hop” at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, Nicki Minaj brought the smoke and aired out Travis Scott on her Beats1 Queen Radio Show.

Last night while accepting her Moonman she said, “tune into Queen radio so you can know who the Hoe N***a of the Day is going to.” Well, she kept her promise by awarding her newest nemesis Travis Scott the “Hoe N***a of the Week.”

“Travis Scott wins ‘Ho Ni**a of the Week’ by a landslide,” said Nicki. “Travis Scott is out here selling fucking clothes and got ya’ll thinking he’s selling music.”

She clearly stated that she doesn’t agree with merch sales counting as album sales and said that’s why her recently-released ‘Queen’ album didn’t debut at No. 1. Going on she explained how Travis inflated his second week sales by selling “season pass” tour bundles and having is girl Kylie Jenner post on Instagram that she would be there with their daughter Stormi.

“Travis Scott on Thursday, when he realized the Queen was about to have the No. 1 album in America, he and his label decided to have Kylie and baby Stormi put up a tour pass,” she said. “He had her go and post and say, ‘Me and Stormi can’t wait to see ya’ll!’ How are you selling something that does not have anything to do with your album, but it’s being counted on Billboard as album sales?”

Nicki went on by calling him “Auto-tune man” and saying, “But what we not gon’ do is have this Auto-Tune man comin’ up here selling fuckin’ sweaters and tellin’ ya’ll he sold half-a-million fucking albums ’cause he didn’t. And there’s a lot of rappers behind the scenes that wanna talk about it and they’re scared. But sweetheart, I’m not scared.”

Scott’s ‘ASTROWORLD’ album topped the Billboard 200 chart for a second week straight after selling 205,000 equivalent album units. Nicki’s ‘Queen’ debuted at No. 2 with 185,000 units, 78,000 traditional sales.

The smoke didn’t stop there as she mentioned an unnamed male rapper that secretly hates on her.

“There’s a male rapper in the industry who’s a big secret hater. Very jealous person,” she said.

Stay tuned for more smoke as it unfolds and in the words of Funkmaster Flex, “I’m just bobbing my head to the beat.”

Logic Delivers A Powerful Performance Of “One Day” At The MTV VMAs [WATCH]

Channeling his inner Eminem, Logic made a major entrance similar to Marshall Mathers’ at the 2000 MTV VMAs when he performed “The Real Slim Shady.” However, Bobby Tarantino’s was more powerful as he was joined by immigrant parents and children on his way to the stage.

Logic was also joined by Ryan Tedder as they performed the politically-charged “One Day” in front of a huge screen that read, “WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS.”

Salute to Logic for continually using his massive platform to address these major social issues and calling out Donald Trump Dump’s bullsh*t agenda and views.

logic-mtv-vmas-2017

From the stage design, which included the artwork for the “1-800-273-8255” single to having 50 suicide attempt and loss survivors on stage with him wearing shirts that read, “You Are Not Alone.” Throughout the performance Logic urged people struggling with thoughts of suicide to call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline and pushed the message they are not alone.

Watch below and also check out Logic using his platform to address the media, who fails to make this a pressing issue and fails to cover it.

Drake Presents Rihanna With 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award At VMAs [VIDEO]

Following Rihanna’s final performance, Drake surprised the crowd as he made his way to the stage to present Rihanna with the 2016 Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Drake went in on how he met Rih in 2005 and how big of a star she is and how even though she is older than her, he still very much looks up to her.

The chemistry on the stage was as natural as its ever been with the two sharing a kiss and Drake professing his love by saying, “she is someone I have been in love with since I was 22-years-old.”

In my opinion nobody would’ve been better two present the award than Drizzy. These two are arguably the two biggest stars in the world at the moment.

Past recipients for the award include Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J, David Bowie to name a few.

What an accomplishment, but well deserved! Congrats, RihRih.

Last week we shared a picture on our Twitter of a billboard Drake bought Rihanna to Congratulate her on the accomplishment.

Kanye West Talks Famous Video At MTV VMAs & Premieres “Fade” Video [WATCH]

Brrrooo! Kanye went to the MTV VMAs to premiere his new video for “Fade.”

Before he showed the video you know Kanye had to talk.

Ye started by praising Beyonce before discussing the “Famous” video, where he shouted out Ray J, Amber Rose (who was in attendance) and even talked about his love for Taylor Swift and the controversial phone call situation.

He then proceeded to talking about the senseless murders in Chicago before he passionately said his role models were “Truman, Ford, Hughes, Disney, Jobs, West.” Yes, West as in Kanye West. Gotta love it.

Can you count how many times he says “Bro?”

Click the link below to watch Kanye’s “Fade” video. The video shows a very sexy, slender Teyanna Taylor alongside her hubby Iman Shumpert and their newborn.

Future was introduced by USA Gold Medalist Michael Phelps who said, “there’s no rapper more inspiring today than Future,” and admitted to listening to “Stick Talk” before hitting the pool.

In the video you will also see Desiigner vibing out to Future’s performance. Awkward.
