Uncle Murda Gives All The Highlights Of 2018 On His “Rap Up 2018” [LISTEN]

Uncle Murda took a page out of Mad Skillz book last year when he released his own version of the yearly “Rap Up.” The G-Unit rapper comes through with “Rap Up 2018,” which is a little more in-depth than Skillz and also very entertaining.

Over 9-minutes Murda gives his year-end recap with hilarious lines that float bar-for-bar. Rapping over a combination of soulful beats that were assembled by a combination of Great John, DJ Clue, Myles William, and Mister Neek.

Every bar on this track talks about the year that was, so it might be a lot to digest. It was a tumultuous year in hip-hop and this talks about the winners and losers. There’s some heavy smoke bars in there for MAGA supporter Kanye West, Young Buck, and even Dwight Howard.

All the beefs in 2018 are put under a microscope as well as Drake’s baby reveal, Lil Wayne and Birdman putting their beef aside, Juelz pulling up to the airport with a gun, Rondo smacking CP3, LeBron coming to the Lakers, Donald Dump’s BS, Tekashi 6ix9ine’s antics and imprionment, Nip’s “Victory Slap,” the losses of rappers, Bill Cosby, the Kardashians, and more.

New Music: Uncle Murda – “Why You Mad” (Skillz Diss) [LISTEN]

Uncle Murda and Skillz came into 2018 with 2017 problems. Both rappers have been going back-and-forth at each other after Skillz declined to include Murda in a “Rap Up” collaboration. That prompted the G-Unit rapper to send a shot at the Virginia MC.

After Murda opened his “2017 Rap Up” with “nobody wanna hear Mad Skillz shit,” Skillz responded with a diss track called “Murda Gram,” where he addressed the situation and gave some background on DJ Clark Kent attempting to get Murda on Skillz’s conceptual song.

Murda isn’t staying mum and has dropped a response diss track aimed at Skillz called “Why You Mad.” Listen below.

New Music: Skillz – “Murda Gram” (Uncle Murda Diss) [LISTEN]

From the “Rap Up” to getting wrapped up in a beef, Skillz returns a few days after dropping his annual year-in-review song.

After Uncle Murda dropped his own “Rap Up,” where he starts with “nobody wanna hear Mad Skillz shit,” the Virginia rapper responds with a rebuttal. Skillz drops “Murda Gram” dissing Uncle Murda and tells the background story saying Clark Kent called him and asked him to collaborate with Murda on a concept that he originated.

The artwork includes a DM from Murda to Skillz. Listen to “Murda Gram” below.
