The Migos Announce ‘Culture II’ Release Date [PEEP]

Dat way.

A few weeks ago I shared a list of the 10 most anticipated albums of 2018 and the Migos upcoming ‘Culture II’ album was definitely on there. Late last night the Atlanta trio announced the release date for the highly-anticipated album and follow-up to 2017’s ‘Culture’.

The sequel is slated to be released on Friday, January 26th, which is only one day before the original was released on January 27th of last year.

Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff all shared the release date with a photo on social media that shows white roses spelling out the roman numeral “II,” along with two white doves holding the imagery down and the release date on the bottom. All three members have also changed their AVI to the image.

Thus far there has been two singles released off the album in the Pharrell-produced “Stir Fry” and the flaming “MotorSport” single featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B.

Stay tuned for more updates as they unfold.

Travis Scott & Quavo Perform “Eye 2 Eye” On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” [WATCH]

Not many projects released in the last few months have been sounding off like Travis Scott and Quavo’s collaborative ‘Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho’ tape. To celebrate the success the duo went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to perform their single “Eye 2 Eye,” along with Takeoff, who is featured on the song.

Scott and Quavo brought the intensity with a lit stage that included a desert setting, draped with giant digital cactuses, crows, and more. During the set a live alligator appeared and made its presence as the performance carried on. La Flame then faced the gator and went “Eye 2 Eye” with it.

‘Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho’ debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 70-thousand units sold. Quavo is currently getting ready to rejoin his Migos gang and release ‘Culture II’, while Travis Scott appears to be inching closer to the release of his ‘AstroWorld’ album.

New Music: Takeoff – “Intruder” [LISTEN]

takeoff-intruder

The Migos have enjoyed a lot of success together and apart from each other. Seeing all the success fellow members Quavo and Offset have had with their own musical ventures, Offset decides to drop his first solo single “Intruder.”

Over OG Parker’s minacious piano keys, Takeoff serves up scathing lyrics about the dangers of being in his house without an invitation. “Intruder, don’t try to say I didn’t tell ’em / ‘Fo’ I sent those shots up at your cerebellum / There’s a warning sign in my backyard, say ‘Do not enter,’ I got the right to kill ’em,” he raps.
