SZA Performs “Broken Clocks” At The GRAMMYs [WATCH]

TDE was well represented at last night’s GRAMMYs with Kendrick Lamar sweeping his nominations and delivering a killer performance. SZA may not have picked up any GRAMMY awards, but she did make noise with a performance of “Broken Clocks” off her GRAMMY-nominated ‘Ctrl’ album.

TDE Announces Full Label “The Championship Tour” [PEEP]

One of the hottest rosters in the game has to be Top Dawg Entertainment’s. For some time fans of the label have been tweeting the big Dawgs and demanding a complete joint tour with every artist on the label. It appears the message has gone through, as TDE announced its first-ever full label tour.

“The Championship Tour” will boasts every artist on the label like Kendrick Lamar, SZA, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker. The only artist that doesn’t appear is Isaiah Rashad, who appears to be sitting it out to work on his album.

Over a three-month period the TDE roster will cover most of North America with production handled by Live Nation. It is set to kick off on May 4th in Vancouver, British Columbia and hit major markets like Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Florida, Dallas, and many more.

Tickets will go on-sale to the general public this Friday at noon local time on Ticketmaster.com. American Express members will be able to purchase tickets before the general public in select cities, starting tomorrow at 10 am local time.

New Music: Wale – “The Weekend” [LISTEN]

New Music: Kendrick Lamar & SZA – “All The Stars” [LISTEN]

It has been confirmed that Top Dawg and his TDE label will be curating and producing the upcoming motion soundtrack for Black Panther: The Album’ with music and inspiration from Marvel’s upcoming “Black Panther” movie.

Today we get the new first single, “All the Stars,” produced by TDE’s Sounwave and featuring all-stars, Kendrick Lamar and SZA. The combination is a winning formula, as K. Dot spits a fire verse and SZA exercises her harmonizing vocals over the hot production.

“Tell me what you gon’ do to me,” raps Kung-Fu Kenny. “Confrontation ain’t nothin’ new to me / You can bring a bullet, bring a sword, bring a morgue / But you can’t bring the truth to me.”

“Black Panther” will hit theaters on February 16th. In the meantime listen to “All the Stars” below.

The L.A. Leakers Podcast Episode 17: “Peace To 2017” [STREAM]

It was definitely a big year for hip-hop in 2017 with the culture running the masses. A lot of dope music put out and awesome moments that will live engraved in the memory’s of many. We are a piece of the culture and really pushed it forward this year with our platform. With that said, we had to look back on the amazing year and talk about it.

New Video: SZA – “The Weekend” [WATCH]

Start your weekend off right with the visuals for SZA’s “The Weekend.”

The TDE songstress finally shares the long-awaited visuals, after months of fans begging for them. Wait no more, as the Solange-directed clip proves to be well worth the wait with dance-centric visuals, showing SZA in her element.

It begins with a poem that states: “one opted out. an imbalance of power, shifted the whole tide. it waved.” Eventually, the poem can be found at the end of the clip, as well, bookending the whole thing.”

From there the video shows SZA displaying her dance moves throughout.

SZA Performs “Supermodel” On “The Tonight Show” [WATCH]

After making her “Saturday Night Live” debut over the weekend, SZA continues her television domination, as she hit up “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform her ‘ctrl’ single, “Supermodel.”

The five-time GRAMMY nominated songstress looked like a “Supermodel” herself, wearing money-print overalls and Balenciaga sneakers. This performance marked her third on “The Tonight Show” this year. Earlier in the year she performed her single “Love Galore” and later joined Maroon 5 to perform “What Lovers Do.”

SZA Performs “Normal Girl” On BBC’s “Later… with Jools Holland” [WATCH]

While on Bryson Tiller’s “Set It Off Tour,” which hit the UK last night, SZA hit up BBC’s “Later… with Jools Holland” to perform her ‘Ctrl’ single, “Normal Girl.”

Slaying per usual, the TDE songstress hit the stage rocking a silky pink coat with matching pants and a black shirt. With a full band backing her, SZA ran through the standout, as the British fans in attendance sang along the words, “I wish I was a normal girl.”

Last night Tiller along with SZA began their “Set It Off Tour” that will continue in the UK and throughout Europe until November 30th.

SZA Uncovers Unreleased “Love Galore” Verse [LISTEN]

SZA scored her first RIAA Platinum-certified plaque with her single “Love Galore” featuring Travis Scott. Currently on her “Ctrl: The Tour,” the TDE songstress shared a video on her tour bus, where she sings the unreleased, never-heard verse.

“I’ve been looking good, I’ve been feeling nice,” she sings on the unreleased verse, before talking up her “aura” and her endless work of “working overtime.”

The singer will continue on her headlining “Ctrl: The Tour” until December 17th, when it comes to an end in St. Louis, Missouri. She will also be dropping a deluxe version of ‘Ctrl’ soon, so stay tuned for that and a lot more from the beautiful talent.

Being a huge fan of HBO’s “Insecure” show, SZA was completely stoked when her ‘Ctrl’ single, “Supermodel,” sounded off on the show. The show’s boss lady, Issa Rae is also a huge fan of SZA’s music, so it was only a matter a time for the TDE songstress to make a single exclusively for the show.

SZA goes off on her new single “Quicksand,” which will appear on the show’s soundtrack along with “Supermodel.”

New Music: Maroon 5 – “What Lovers Do” Feat. SZA [LISTEN]

Maroon 5 calls in SZA for their new single “What Lovers Do.” Over a uptempo track, SZA displays her vocal abilities to make an ultimate Pop song, that should be a majorly added song at radio stations across the country.

Just last October Maroon 5 connected with SZA’s labelmate, Kendrick Lamar on “Don’t Wanna Know.” Both singles are expected to be featured on the group’s forthcoming album.

SZA Performs “Normal Girl” At BET’s “Black Girls Rock!” Event [WATCH]

Currently on her “Ctrl: The Tour,” SZA made a stop at BET’s “Black Girls Rock!” event to perform her soothing “Normal Girl” single in front of a star-studded crowd that included Congresswoman Maxine Waters, “Insecure” boss lady, Issa Rae, Maxwell, and others.

With a guitarist rocking out on the strings, the TDE Songstress ran through her ‘Ctrl’ album standout, back up by a stage design that had included huge letters spelling the name of her recently-released album.

SZA, who dealt with come health issues resulting in the cancellation of a few shows, will continue on her “Ctrl: The Tour” today in Toronto, Canada. She will proceed throughout North America, until she wraps up the tour on December 17th in St. Louis.

New Video: SZA – “Supermodel” [LISTEN]

Last night SZA’s “Supermodel” single received placement in HBO’s latest episode of “Insecure.” To celebrate the victory, the TDE songstress dropped the visuals for her ‘Ctrl.’ single.

In the Nabil-directed enchanted video, SZA struts around a magical forest wearing ‘Ctrl.’ panties, a see-through blouse, and a robe. On her journey she encounters fairies, who worship her and blow her kisses, before they all shoot fake guns and explosives at her ex.

Issa Rae who acts, writes, and is the executive producer of “Insecure,” tweeted that she heard “Supermodel” prior to the album’s release and “was in LOVEEEE,” adding that, “Lowkey the whole album could be on the show. #InsecureHBO.”

SZA responded on Twitter and displayed her appreciation in a Tweet where she wrote, “this means so much to me I wanna say more but i fear I’m peaking on thirst™ lol I’m just so thankful..I really prayed and dreamed of this.”
