New Video: RJ – “Want Me Broke” [WATCH]

rj-la-show

West Coast mainstay, RJ spent most of his July on the road doing shows as part of his “Mr. LA Tour.” RJ closed the tour out in-front of a sold out hometown crowd at the Novo in LA. In the video for “Want Me Broke,” RJ uses behind-the-scenes footage from that night and let’s just say “lit” is an understatement.

Joined by Snoop Dogg, The Game, Tyga, Dom Kennedy, DJ Mustard, and OT Genasis, the visuals takes viewers behind-the-scenes of the concert, where RJ lounges with some of his West Coast homies and puts on a show. The clips featured in the visuals leaves no doubt in the mind of the viewer, that he is truly, Mr. LA.

If you prayed on RJ’s downfall, you best retract your hate. Mr. LA stepped into the booth with the LA Leakers and showed why DJ Mustard and YG made him the first artist on their 4hunnid Summers label. Over Tee Grizzley’s “First Day Out,” which Jay-Z called the hottest song out last week, RJ spits that premium gas and shows he is not to be played with.

RJ goes on to shoutout Quavo, ScHoolboy Q, J. Creddy, Sourmilk in his raps while also addressing the friction that once existed between Mustard and YG. “Aye YG n**** / Ain’t it a blessing / I’m 4hunnid Summers after all that happened / After the part ways / Got back with Mustard / Then you both signed me / Now we right back brackin.”
