Rick Ross & Gucci Mane To Co-Star In Independent Film [PEEP]

rick-ross-gucci-mane-car

Following the success of his recently-released ‘Rather You Than Me’ album, Ricky Rozay has announced he’s partnering with Gucci Mane to co-star in an upcoming independent motion picture.

Ross made the announcement in a recent interview saying, “Me and Guwop gonna film our first movie, we doing that independently. We gon’ be beginning that in the next three months. That’s coming. That’s official. They gonna see us swerving.”

The Bawse went on to say the filming will begin at his “second home” of Atlanta, Georgia. Fittingly GuWop who resides in Atlanta, will be his co-star. The two have collaborated on singles like “Buy Back the Block” and “She On My Dick” recently and have a well-documented working relationship, since Gucci got out the feds.

There’s not much info on what the film will be about. However, if you watched the cinematic video for “Buy Back the Block,” it looked like it could be a preview for what’s to come. Watch below if you haven’t yet.

Ricky currently has the No. 3 album in the country with over 100,000 sales in the first week. He also recently announced his next album, ‘Port of Miami 2: Born to Kill’.

New Video: Rick Ross – “Trap Trap Trap” Feat. Wale & Young Thug [WATCH]

Ricky Rozay dropped his new album, ‘Rather You Than Me’ today and along with it he dropped the visuals for “Trap Trap Trap” featuring Wale and Young Thug off the album.

‘Rather You Than Me’ is Ross’ first release on EPIC Records and includes other features from Future, Nas, Jeezy, Meek Mill, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign, and others. It also includes the scathing single “Idols Become Rivals,” where he takes shots at Birdman.

Birdman responded to the shots on Billboard by saying, “I don’t get caught up in hoe sh-t, man. I just keep doing what I’m doing and keep pushing. I don’t get caught up in that, I don’t play like that. I’m a man and I stand my ground and I do my thing. Numbers don’t lie, and that’s all I give a f–k about: numbers, and puttin’ them up.”

I guess Birdman just wants everyone to put some “respek” on his name. Watch the video for “Trap Trap Trap” below via YouTube.

New Music: Rick Ross – “Buy Back The Block (Refinance)” Feat. Nipsey Hussle, E-40, Slim Thug & Fat Joe [LISTEN]

buy-back-the-block-remix

Rick Ross bought back the block, but is back to make sure his homies do the same from the west to the east coast. The Bawse nabs Nipsey Hussle, E-40, Slim Thug, and Fat Joe for the “Buy Back The Block Refinance.”

Neighbahood Nip leads things off by rapping about his business ventures on Crenshaw, including his Fatburger, his TMC store, and his $100 mixtapes. From Crenshaw, Slim Thug takes listeners through Texas, where the Boss Hog talks about his hustle, real estate, and ambitions to buy the whole city. E-40 then takes folks to the Bay Area and debates franchising a Ralphs, a Whole Foods, or a Sprouts, and what he would be able to do with the money from his 9,000 square foot house. Fat Joe closes things out by spitting about putting the hood on his back and how he intends to build a 30-room mansion.

Ross originally dropped “Buy Back The Block” featuring 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane in November. Rozay is currently working on his EPIC Records debut album, ‘Rather You Than Me’. His 9th studio album is set to be released on March 17th. Ricky will also host the MTV Woodie Awards on March 16th.

New Music: Rick Ross – “Summer 17” [LISTEN]

rick-ross-summer-17

We may be having an extended winter this day after Punxsutawney Phil saw its shadow on Groundhog Day. That’s not stopping Rick Ross from getting ready for the summer with his new single “Summer 17.”

The track isn’t an ode to his former friend turned foe, Drake’s “Summer Sixteen” track. Instead Ross raps about wanting to see all his n*****z rich by the summer of this year. Rozay then flexes on them by bragging about a purple Lamborghini, all the women in his swimming pool, his lawyer, and other commodities in his lavish lifestyle.

Ross has been in the studio working hard on his upcoming album ‘Better You Than Me’, which is expected to be released later this year. The album will be his first under EPIC Records. In the meantime get in shape for “Summer 17” by pressing play below.

Expect the video soon, as well as Rick Ross’ upcoming, debut album under Epic Records.
