New Video: Jacquees – “B.E.D. (Remix)” Feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Quavo [WATCH]

jacquees-bed-remix

About a year ago, Jacquees dropped his ‘MOOD’ LP that was led by the Avant-inspired single, “B.E.D.” Quavo and Ty Dolla $ign would eventually hop on the remix and make it even raunchier and more explicit than the original. Jacquees returns with the video for the seductive remix.

Co-directed by BPACE and Jacquees, the visual starts with Keke Palmer braiding Jacquees hair as he sings. From there grainy VHS footage shows Quavo at a house party with plenty of sexy women. Jacquees also recreates 2-Pac’s notorious David LaChapelle bathtub photo shot.

Turning a fashion show into a music video, A$AP Rocky, Quavo, and Playboi Carti show off their collection of RAF SIMONS clothing in the visuals for “RAF,” which also features Frank Ocean and Lil Uzi Vert. The latter duo does not appear in the video however.

Filled with trippy cutouts and VHS-like, grainy film Rocky, Quavo, and Carti perform their verses while trying on different “RAF” cuts. The video could have easily been part of a RAF SIMONS campaign.

New Music: A-Trak – “Believe” Feat. Quavo & Lil Yachty [LISTEN]

unnamed

A-Trak has spent a majority of his week teasing his new single “Believe” featuring Quavo and Lil Yachty. It started a few days ago with the superstar DJ/Producer singing along to the track with cutouts of the collaborators.

“Believe” has a nice structured sound and the production sounds like it was crafted for Quavo and Yachty from the beginning. French Montana and Swae Lee already have a summer anthem with “Unforgettable” and DJ Khaled has shot his shot with the Rihanna and Bryson Tiller-assisted “Wild Thoughts.” Perhaps this is the next song to make this an even hotter summer.

On a call from Ibiza, A-Trak told Beats1 in a phone interview how the song came about.

“[We] recorded the song hanging out,” he said. “I wanted that to come through in the vibe of the song, that this is a hangout thing, having fun. Even the way that they’re trading lines back and forth. To me, it reminds me of the way that Jadakiss and Styles P used to do it. People don’t do that enough anymore, just trading bars.”

post-malone-future-remix

Still riding the success of his chart-topping Metro Boomin-produced single “Congratulations,” Post Malone nabs Future for the remix, which already includes Quavo.

“Congratulations” is Posty’s highest charting single to date, peaking at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is off Post’s ‘Stoney’ album. Both the album and single went platinum earlier this year, so this remix is just the cherry on top.

Future blesses the track effortlessly flowing,“I can touch the sky / know they gon’ hate but they don’t know who we are.”

New Music: Lil Durk – “Homie Bitch” Feat. Quavo & Lil Yachty [LISTEN]

lil-durk-homie-bitch

Since dropping his ‘Love Songs For the Streets’ mixtape in February, Lil Durk has continued to steadily provide new music releases. For his latest joint Durk links up with Atlanta natives, Quavo and Lil Yachty on “Homie Bitch”.

The track is essentially about attempting to take a friendly relationship with a female friend to the next level and get out the friend zone. Durk, Quavo, and Yachty all debate on the best move to take things to the next level, with the Chicago rapper admitting he doesn’t go on dates, Quavo being lovestruck, and Yachty feeling torn between getting with his homie’s girl and staying loyal.

Durk told Complex this single was recorded in LA last year.

“Me and Quavo was talking back and forth, I sent it to him [and] he laid his verse. Then Yachty came to Chicago and heard it, laid his verse and the rest is history,” he went on to say.

It’s unsure if this single is a one-off or if it will appear on Durk’s forthcoming album. Either way you can listen to it below.

travis-scott-quavo-collab-01-480x320

If you didn’t know, Travis Scott loves surprises and surprising. Just yesterday he surprised his fans with the release of his three new singles “A Man,” “Green & Purple,” and “Butterfly Effect”. La Flame apparently isn’t done and has more surprises in store.

“The Quavo album is coming soon,” he said. “I’m dropping new music soon. You know how I do it though: I like surprises.”

Aside from the joint project with Quavo, Scott continues to work on his forthcoming solo album ‘ASTROWORLD’, which also has not set release date as of now, and could potentially also drop as a surprise album.

In the meantime the rapper continues on his “Birds Eye View Tour” through July 9th, and will join Kendrick Lamar on the Compton rapper’s “DAMN. Tour” shortly after on July 12th.

New Music: A$AP Rocky – “Raf” Feat. Frank Ocean, Lil Uzi Vert & Quavo [LISTEN]

asap-rocky-raf

Frank Ocean continues to drop gems on his Apple Music “blonded” radio show. Following his own releases of “Chanel” featuring A$AP Rocky, “Biking” featuring Jay-Z, Tyler, The Creator, and others, Franky drops a new A$AP Rocky track on episode 6 of the show.

On the new Raf Simmons-inspired track “Raf”, A$AP Rocky grabs some of the hottest artists out like Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo, and Frank Ocean himself. The combination of the 4 rappers creates one very hot track that is sure to tear up the clubs. Ocean raps on the track and send shots at record labels for “blocking my blessings”.

On a footnote, Playboi Carti is on the track, but isn’t worthy of having a credit, because he only drops adlibs over A$AP Rocky’s verse and doesn’t actually drop a verse or anything else.

Two versions of the song were played on the show. Both versions include the same features, A$AP Rocky changes his verses on the alternate versions from him. Listen to both versions below.
