Miguel’s New Album Titled Announced & He Performs On “The Late Show” [WATCH]

It should come as no surprise that Miguel has been working on an album. After releasing “Shockandawe” and “Sky Walker” featuring Travis Scott, the singer took “The Late Show” stage to perform the latter single, while Stephen Colbert announced Miguel’s next album will be titled ‘War & Leisure’.

Playing the guitar and backed up by other guitarists and a bass player, Miguel performed the stripped-down version of “Sky Walker” minus Scott. The background visuals also stayed true to the single’s artwork, as images of war flashed on the screen.

Miguel’s upcoming ‘War & Leisure’ album will follow 2015’s ‘Wildheart’ and is expected to carry both “Sky Walker” and “Shockandawe.” As of now there is no set release date for the R&B crooner’s forthcoming fourth studio album. Stay tuned for more details.

Miguel continues to work on his upcoming fourth studio album, but in the process he’s keeping fans occupied with new music. He recently linked up with Travis Scott on “Sky Walker” and now he’s coming for Trump and company on the politically-charged single, “Shockandawe.”

“Come up off that, give it to me / Oorah! / United Nations keep watchin’ / I’ll play the hero / Media keep talkin’ / But who wanna stop me?,” he sings.

New Video: Miguel – “Sky Walker” Feat. Travis Scott [WATCH]

Only one day after making fans rejoice with his new, Travis Scott-assisted single, “Sky Walker,” Miguel shares the Director X-directed visuals. In the clip Miguel is shown surfing at the beach, flying in the air, and playing a matador in the streets, before Scott joins him on the roof of a police car.

If you didn’t notice, Miguel has been away from the music scene for a while now. He’s popped up on his Instagram doing covers of the Isley Brothers, Pussy Riot, SZA, and others, but nothing new from him. That has changed today with his new Travis Scott-assisted “Sky Walker” out now.

This is possibly the first step for him to kick off his new album campaign. Back in 2015 he released ‘Wildheart’, which debuted at No. 2 on Billboard’s 200 chart, selling a solid 40,ooo copies in its first week.

“Sky Walker” is exactly what I expect from him on his new album, a smooth-sounding single with consistency all across.

New Video: DJ Premier & Miguel – “2 Lovin You” [WATCH]

DJ Premier and Miguel teamed up last month to drop a new, groovy single called “2 Lovin You.” The single was recorded a few years ago and was a reject form Miguel’s 2015 ‘Wildheart’ album. In the end it was the first release on Preem’s To The Top imprint.

In the video both Miguel and Preemo kick it in a warehouse while Miguel sings and Premier mixes with bright lights around them. Watch below via YouTube.

New Music: DJ Premier – “2 Lovin U” Feat. Miguel [LISTEN]

It’s been a while since we heard a new song from Miguel, but the singer collaborates with legendary producer DJ Premier for “2 Lovin U.”

Preemo blesses the track with smooth chords, some slight sampling, and even sound clips. Miguel flips his vocals for “Damned,” which was a bonus track on his last LP, and puts his emotions of giving his unconditional love to a woman over the track.

Miguel last dropped an album in 2015 with ‘Wildheart’, so naturally we should be expecting a new project from the singer soon.
