ludacris-vices

When Ludacris took off with his acting career, he put music on the back-burner to perfect his acting. Several successful movies in and with his acting catalog solidified, the rapper-turned-actor is getting back to the music.

A couple months ago Luda dropped “Vitamin D” featuring Ty Dolla $ign and now he returns with the follow-up, “Vice.” With so much negativity in the world, Luda takes a moment to praise all the things he loves like women and marijuana.

Tonight Luda will premiere the video for “Vices” on BET’s “50Central.”

In the meantime listen to “Vices” below.

Ludacris continues his return to music by dropping a “Luda Mix” to Bruno Mars’ “That’s What I Like”. The track has already been remixed by both Gucci Mane and PARTYNEXTDOOR and now Luda delivers his verse, with a freaky touch about his sexcapades.

A few weeks ago Luda dropped his Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Vitamin D” song along with a video and has said he’s working on an album. On a non-music note the rapper-turned-actor has the No. 1 movie in the country with “The Fate of the Furious” and was recently named the new host of the “Fear Factor”.

New Video: Ludacris – “Vitamin D” Feat. Ty Dolla $ign [WATCH]

Ludacris and Ty Dolla $ign play Medical Doctors looking to fill their voluptuous patients with some “Vitamin D,” in the video for their collaborative single.

The Eif Rivera-directed video stays true to Luda’s vision of comedic videos by dawning the Atlanta rapper with an overly-exaggerated muscular, toned physic seducing visitors in the waiting room. Both rappers also sport stethoscopes and surgical gloves as they inspect their sexy patient’s ASSets.

“Vitamin D” samples Sisqo’s “Thong Song” and is expected to land on Luda’s 9th studio album, which he is currently working on.

Ludacris returns to music after a 2-year hiatus with the Ty Dolla $ign-assisted “Vitamin D”.

The song samples Sisqo’s 2000s hit-single “Thong Song,” with Luda spitting funny raps about giving women that “Vitamin D” and other sexual lyrics. Ty handles the hook adding some raunchy, ratchetness to it.

Luda will be back on the big screen April 14th in “The Fate of the Furious,” from “The Fast and the Furious” franchise.

Justin Credible Album Spotlight: Ludacris – Ludaversal

unnamed-1

My brotha Ludacris stopped by the #LIFTOFF with Eric DLux and I to celebrate the release of his 8th studio album titled Ludaversal. We had a great time giving LA an early preview of the album on air, while sipping off a $350 bottle of Tequila! Who said you can’t work and celebrate at the same time?

I finally got some time to sit with this album and really have a listen. I must say Ludacris is still, Ludacris. This new album is a solid Luda album.
His intensity on the mic and the aggressiveness on his bars is what makes this album a good one.

Aside from the album single “Good Lovin” he has with Miguel, Ludacris said that his favorite song on the album was “Grass is Always Greener”. I went ahead and took a listen to it and I noticed that the song is about him finding a balance between his personal and life and artist life. With a line like “I’m at home wishing I was in the club, other times I’m at the club wishing I was with my kids”.

Another song I enjoyed off the album is “Call Ya Bluff”. Ludacris brings his aggressiveness and intensity on the mic with this song. He also has a song titled “Beast Mode” that was inspired by none other than Mr. Beast Mode himself Marshawn Lynch. Luda brought his bars on this song and showed that memorable Luda flow.

Though Ludacris’ acting credits have overshadowed his musical credits in recent years, you can’t deny that the Atlanta-bred rapper has had a legendary run, putting out Dirty South hit after hit. We can’t forget the classic Luda features and songs like Usher’s “Yeah!”, and his solo hits like “Southern Hospitality”, “Move B#tch”, “Get Back”, and “Number One Spot”.

Ludacris put some serious work on this album and it shows. This is one you gotta support.

Ludacris covers ‘The Source’ Magazine (News)

ludasource2

Luda graced the cover of ‘The Source’ magazine’s Spring 2015 issue. Inside the mag Luda opens up about being a father, and protecting his family.

“If you’re talking about me, you’re talking about them. So it’s almost like when you know that back-in-the-day saying about a mother’s strength. Like, a mother’s strength can pull a car off a child. Strengths that you didn’t know you had, you tap into a whole other energy source that you don’t want to really do that. You don’t want to f*** with that. I’ve never claimed to be the most gangster, or hard-ass rapper. However, when you tap into sometingthat’s f****** with me or my family, there’s another side that you’re going to see from me.”
